Details of the 4-day tour from Fes
Day 1: Fez – Midelt – Merzouga
We will start our 4 days from Fes in the hotel at 8 am (or from the airport) then we drive via Ifrane (Switzerland of Morocco) to Erfoud and Merzouga, the gateway to the great south, through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Continue to Midelt where we will have our lunch. Then, you drive to Merzouga via Er Rachidia on the Middle Atlas Road. Welcoming with a mint tea in a hotel at Merzouga.
Day 2: Explore Merzouga
You start a journey in the morning by a 4×4 vehicle to the dunes of Erg Chebbi passing over Berber villages, Lake Merzouga, Mufis Mine, and Oasis. In the afternoon, a camel trek for 1h30min. Cross the dunes and discover the mysteries of the Sea of Sand. We stop at an unspoiled oasis. Enjoy the silence and natural beauty of the desert. Enjoy the panoramic sunset. Dinner and overnight in a Berber tent at the foot of the Erg Chebbi dunes with the Berber Gnawa who will play the traditional music for us.
Day 3: Merzouga – Ouarzazate
Wake up early to watch the charming sunrise over the dunes and take a camelback ride to the foot of the dunes. After breakfast, visit the town of Rissani, with its large bazaar surrounded by red arcades and numerous simple towns, before continuing to Tinghir. Drive along beautiful roads through the Todra Valley, Kasbah, Valley of Roses, and Sakoura palm forests until you reach Ouarzazate. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 4: Ouarzazate – Marrakech
After breakfast, drive to the red city, Marrakech. Visit the Kasbah (Ait Ben Haddou), a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and have lunch there. Later, we continue our tour through the beautiful village of Telouet and along the old caravan route to the Tichka Pass. Around the late afternoon, we arrive in Marrakech.

Details of the 5 days tour from Fes Day 1: Fez – Midelt – Toudra Gorge You start your 5 days tour from Fes with the Morocco4X4 team. You will depart in the morning for the Todra Gorge via Ifrane and the cedar forests of Azrou, home to wild monkeys. This will be an excellent opportunity to take pictures for souvenirs. Lunch in Zaida, a small Berber village. Continue your journey through the Atlas Mountains, enjoying the Midelt landscape, until you reach the small town of Rich. Here you turn right and pass through the famous village of Imilchil before arriving at the Toudra Gorge around the afternoon. Day 2: Todra Gorge – Merzouga (desert) The next day of your tour, you depart Todra Gorge for the Merzouga desert. The road is dotted with Berber villages along the way. We can have many stops. After passing through Tinajdad, Jorf, and Erfoud and hearing about the beginning of the Tafilalet Oasis in the Sahara Desert, we will continue to Merzouga, where we will spend the night in a traditional Merzouga hotel. Day 3: Merzouga – visit nomadic villages – camel rides and overnight camping in the Erg Chebbi Desert After breakfast and shower at the hotel, hike to Erg Chebbi, visit a Berber family, and listen to Gunawa music from Ghana and Sudan. Visit an abandoned mine, Berber nomads, and a palm tree oasis. Return to Merzouga around midday. After lunch and a rest, we head to the camels waiting for 1h3omin in the dunes. We spend the night at camp with music drums in the middle of the Sahara. Once you arrive at camp, you will have the perfect opportunity to take panoramic sunset and sunrise pictures. We will go to the high dunes to watch the sunset and spend the night under the starry sky. Day 4: Merzouga – Midelt After watching the sunrise on camels in Merzouga, we take a shower and have breakfast before setting off on our journey to Midelt. Visit the bazaar of Rissani (big souk) and cross the Ziz Valley and the Middle Atlas Mountains to reach M
