It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Food & Beverage Manager Slavko Drobnjak. Originally from Serbia, Slavko joined Crystal Harmony in 1996 as a waiter and grew through the ranks to head of the onboard Food & Beverage department. Slavko’s passing leaves behind his adoring wife Tatjana of 15 years and two children, daughter Marija and son Petar.

After 27 years of dedication to our beloved Crystal Family, we will remember Slavko for his kindness and incredible sense of humor, how well he balanced leadership and diplomacy, his enthusiasm for life, travel, and family, and how he always made each person feel as if they were the most important person in the room. He always ensured that everyone was treated fairly and brought out the best in every crewmember.

Slavko will be greatly missed amongst the crew and guests.

Serving under the Kennedys and traveling with Nixon and other foreign officials,
Kathryn Childers helped protect various Presidents and their families during their time in office. Guided by her personal mantra, ‘Do It Scared,’ she navigates life with unwavering focus and a great sense of humor.

Next May, Crystal Serenity embarks on an odyssey to explore the Mediterranean islands. Leaving Marseille, it discovers the rugged charm of the historic towns of Calvi and Olbia before stepping off in Rome.

Known for its white sandy beaches, dense forests, snow-capped mountains, and rolling countryside, Calvi's diverse landscape serves as the gateway to Corsica's profound history. Among its cobbled streets lies the legendary residence of Christopher Columbus, the adventurer of the New World who had a deep connection to the island.

Continuing through the scenic sights of the Mediterranean, guests arrive at one of Italy’s most picturesque seaside towns, Olbia. This coastal gem in Sardinia highlights the island’s distinct history, featuring the archaeological site of Nuraghe La Prisgiona, an ancient settlement nestled in the Capichera valley that offers a glimpse into the island’s Nuragic civilization.

Presently in Stockholm, Crystal Symphony guests are discovering one of the most beautiful capitals in the world. An urban city close to nature, built magnificently across 14 islands and connected by 57 exquisite bridges.

Here they have the option of starting the day with an insightful guided tour of the Vasa Museum's 17th-century Swedish warship before strolling through the green island of Djurgården. Following a traditional Swedish lunch, visitors are invited to board a chartered motorboat for a captivating journey through Stockholm's charming canals and quays. While navigating the waterways, guests pass the medieval old town with its historic guild houses and end the day on a memorable note with sunset views of the Royal Swedish Opera House.
