Gospa od Mirišta (Vavedenje)

Vavedenje is a small island on the eastern side of the entrance to Kotor Bay, the entrance to the bay Mirište, on the peninsula Lustica. Area of the this island, also known as the small Island Žanjic is 700 square meters. There is a fortified monastery complex with the Church of the Presentation of the Virgin Mary. In the historical sources is mentioned first in 16th century as Sv. Maria de Sagnic.
