The season has just finished but we’re already missing it! It was a wonderful one, full of amazing people, unforgettable moments and precious memories. Ilhem and Ingrid, two lovely and brave ladies from Denmark took the challenge to cross all the Montenegrin part of the biggest lake in Balkan Peninsula with an extra paddling day at the Seaside, choosing us as their guides and it seems like they didn’t regret it. Here’s what they said about this expedition:

“It was an amazing journey. We have been paddling in different places of the lake, watching birds, stopping for lunch in very cozy and charming restaurants on the lake.
We visited a winery, and tasted different wines and liqueurs, stopped at a couple of Orthodox monasteries where Vuk has told us about history of Montenegro. It’s definitely not our last trip with Nomad & Outdoor.”

Touring with our guests is rather a pleasure than a job - especially when we have such lovely and easy going people like Mary and Rob. They wanted to enjoy both the South and North of Montenegro and we brought them to some of the most beautiful spots, showing them the natural and cultural heritage of our country. "...If you are going to Montenegro, you will miss out if you do not tour with Bojana and Vuk. My friend and I were with Bojana for 4 wonderful days and we visited family-run wineries for delicious home cooking and spirits, we hiked the peaks, we toured the walled cities, we swam in Skadar Lake, and most importantly, we learned so much about Montenegro".

"...We enjoyed a great week hiking to lots of high peaks throughout a range of national parks in Montenegro, and throughout Bojana provided us with knowledgeable and interesting information about what we were seeing and where we were visiting. We stayed in a range of excellent local accommodation and ate some fantastic food provided by local families and restaurants. 16 days of exploring Montenegro with the amazing Bral family - the longest trip we have ever had! We've done almost all the activities that our beautiful country offers: hiking, kayaking, coasteering, rafting, via ferrata, mountain bike, enjoying fabulous landscapes of Kotor Bay, Lake Skadar, canyons of Mrtvica, Tara, Piva, Nevidio and Međureč, Lola Mountain and Durmitor NP, presenting local culture and tradition, tasting national cuisine and staying at the most beautiful spots. Kate brought her family and friends for a tour in Southern Montenegro - they didn't want to ride too hard so we enjoyed light activities enriched with many interesting cultural visits, cooking lessons, having super-tasty food and local beverages. It was not easy at all to choose photos for this post as Bojana brought so many amazing ones from all across our beautiful country! She spent 11 days hiking with Sarah and Jeff, a lovely couple from UK, hiking through the beauty of Prokletije Mountains, Bjelasica, Lola, Durmitor, Mrtvica Canyon, spending time with locals in remote areas of Montenegro, enjoying tasty traditional homemade food and having lots of fun all the time. After many years of guiding, our job is still the biggest blessing for us. 🙂❤️❤️🌄🌅🏞️🏔️⛰️

Sometimes the weather is not by our side but we always have some good plan B: so, instead of hiking and boat cruising in the rain, we have chosen to visit the most beautiful view points at Lake Skadar NP as well as our lovely friends and collaborators at Mrkan winery. And as always, it was simply an awesome experience - we enjoyed the taste of Montenegrin wines, liquors and homemade juices in the fantastic ambience of Rvaši village. Our amazing guests simply loved it!

There’s nothing better than touring with old friends. My Yogic Adventure brought their guests again for a kayaking trip at Lake Skadar NP and as always, we enjoyed it! Our collaboration lasts for years and together we promote the natural and cultural heritage of Montenegro. This time we explored the old Grmožur Fortress, the remote bay of Raduš oko as well as the fish delicacies at a local tavern. And yes – they will join us for another soon – can’t wait for it!

Els, Lies, Sarah and Anna visited Montenegro for the seventh time! The first time they arrived 10 years ago and immediately fell in love with our country so this trip was their way to celebrate the anniversary. They explored remote and calm villages in the North, enjoying tasty homemade food, absolute peace and breathtaking hikes through untouched nature. So, the season 2024 has officially started! And the opening hardly could be better: we hosted 21 amazing young people from “Smile for Life Children’s Charity” from Newcastle, together with their professors. We paddled at Lake Skadar NP, enjoying the nature and hospitality of our hosts at , speaking about our country, visiting historical monuments and having plenty of fun in two days. It was a truly empowering experience for us and we already miss you guys! Looking forward to seeing you again! ❤️❤️❤️
