16 days of exploring Montenegro with the amazing Bral family - the longest trip we have ever had! We've done almost all the activities that our beautiful country offers: hiking, kayaking, coasteering, rafting, via ferrata, mountain bike, enjoying fabulous landscapes of Kotor Bay, Lake Skadar, canyons of Mrtvica, Tara, Piva, Nevidio and Međureč, Lola Mountain and Durmitor NP, presenting local culture and tradition, tasting national cuisine and staying at the most beautiful spots. Kate brought her family and friends for a tour in Southern Montenegro - they didn't want to ride too hard so we enjoyed light activities enriched with many interesting cultural visits, cooking lessons, having super-tasty food and local beverages. It was not easy at all to choose photos for this post as Bojana brought so many amazing ones from all across our beautiful country! She spent 11 days hiking with Sarah and Jeff, a lovely couple from UK, hiking through the beauty of Prokletije Mountains, Bjelasica, Lola, Durmitor, Mrtvica Canyon, spending time with locals in remote areas of Montenegro, enjoying tasty traditional homemade food and having lots of fun all the time. After many years of guiding, our job is still the biggest blessing for us. 🙂❤️❤️🌄🌅🏞️🏔️⛰️

Sometimes the weather is not by our side but we always have some good plan B: so, instead of hiking and boat cruising in the rain, we have chosen to visit the most beautiful view points at Lake Skadar NP as well as our lovely friends and collaborators at Mrkan winery. And as always, it was simply an awesome experience - we enjoyed the taste of Montenegrin wines, liquors and homemade juices in the fantastic ambience of Rvaši village. Our amazing guests simply loved it!

There’s nothing better than touring with old friends. My Yogic Adventure brought their guests again for a kayaking trip at Lake Skadar NP and as always, we enjoyed it! Our collaboration lasts for years and together we promote the natural and cultural heritage of Montenegro. This time we explored the old Grmožur Fortress, the remote bay of Raduš oko as well as the fish delicacies at a local tavern. And yes – they will join us for another soon – can’t wait for it!

Els, Lies, Sarah and Anna visited Montenegro for the seventh time! The first time they arrived 10 years ago and immediately fell in love with our country so this trip was their way to celebrate the anniversary. They explored remote and calm villages in the North, enjoying tasty homemade food, absolute peace and breathtaking hikes through untouched nature. So, the season 2024 has officially started! And the opening hardly could be better: we hosted 21 amazing young people from “Smile for Life Children’s Charity” from Newcastle, together with their professors. We paddled at Lake Skadar NP, enjoying the nature and hospitality of our hosts at , speaking about our country, visiting historical monuments and having plenty of fun in two days. It was a truly empowering experience for us and we already miss you guys! Looking forward to seeing you again! ❤️❤️❤️

Montenegro is a very sunny country as the South collects in average more than 250 sunny days annually, so it’s possible to say that these pictures show pretty typical winter day in Montenegrin Seaside. Kayaking in late December is truly fun and relaxing as it feels like all the sea is only ours; there’s nothing and none to spoil pure joy in surreally beautiful Adriatic landscapes.

Soon we’ll be blessed with some serious snow in the mountains and we’re already excited with the possibility of doing some winter hiking, snowshoeing and skiing. All that combined with plenty of amazing activities in the South.

Montenegro is a land with long and turbulent history that left enormous amount of cultural heritage, both material and immaterial. This diversity is probably our biggest wealth: even being such a small country, each corner has plenty of specific cultural feature. And that’s what we really like to show to all those who choose us to be their hosts in Montenegro – all those beautiful marks from the past, monuments, churches and mosques, mysterious medieval cemeteries, from typical Mediterranean south to dominantly oriental north and north-east. One of the last tours in the season we have done with Claudia, Sally and Candy, three Americans who wanted to see the best of Boka Bay nature and culture. And they really enjoyed it, as well as we enjoyed time spent with them walking Zalazi Villages and Vrmac Hill, visiting Our Lady of the Rocks, Risan, Perast, Kotor, Lovćen Mausoleum.

Sara, Robert, Daniel and Volker have chosen our “Magical Piva and Durmitor” hiking tour and they decided to it as a self-guided trip. Just look what the pictures they sent us! They’ve had time of their lives enjoying all the beauty of Volujak and Maglić Mountains, fabulous highlands and old villages of Piva Plateau, lakes and peaks of Durmitor NP. They only regret that they couldn’t stay more than one week. But they have already reserved a winter trip with us – cannot wait to see you again guys, we really enjoyed meeting you!

"Highly recommended if your looking for an outdoors adventure. We did a 5 day trip through Montenegro; kayaking at lake Skadar, hiking at Durmitur NP and Piva NP and rafting on Tara river. Along the way we saw castles and monasteries and Vukoman and Bojana were great, knowledgeable about local culture and history and very attentive. They arranged everything for us and were very flexible and easy to communicate with. Great experience!"

Saying only “one of the best trips ever” won’t be enough, as there’s much more to say about that one we just have finished with our old pals, who took us to guide them for their second tour in Balkans. They’ve been attracted with our new concept called “Balkan Hiking Adventure”, being our very first guests to visit 4 countries in the region, doing some amazing hikes, visiting wonderful old cities and enjoying all the beauty of diversities that only this part of the world can offer.

We climbed the highest peaks of Macedonia, Albania, Kosovo and Montenegro, walking about 100 km and 6.000 meters of altitude. We reached tops of Korab Mountain, Velika Rudoka, Djeravica and Zla Kolata, we hiked three days on fabulous “Peaks of the Balkans” trail. We enjoyed the most attractive cultural gems of Tirana, Ohrid, Prizren and Peje, having fantastic food and beverages. Above all, the immense warmth and hospitality of our hosts, wherever we were, left ours completely breathless.

Through these 11 days we've had amazing time and plenty of fun. We’ve strengthened our friendship and we're pretty sure this isn't the last time us to tour together.

Thank you very, very much Rox, Martijn, Joel, Bram, Tim and Clem. You made us even more sure that we do the most beautiful job in the world.

There’s nothing better than touring with old, good friends. We’ve been pleased with two beautiful days spent with and , exploring remote areas of Lake Skadar NP, visiting old villages, swimming in crystal clear river, enjoying tasty food and amazing wines.
