🔴L’Ambassadeur du Japon à Madagascar, Koji Abe, accompagné de la Représentante résidente de l'UNICEF, Christine Jaulmes, a effectué une visite dans les régions de Vatovavy et Fitovinany afin de constater l'impact des projets financés par le gouvernement japonais à hauteur de 1,7 million de dollars, alloués dans le cadre du budget supplémentaire 2023.
🔹Ces projets bénéficient notamment aux secteurs de la santé, de la nutrition, de la protection de l’enfance, ainsi qu’à l’accès à l’eau et à l’assainissement, indique-t-on. Au cours de cette mission, la délégation a exploré plusieurs sites clés, tels que le Centre de Santé de Base de niveau 2 de Soamanova, ceux d'Ampasimalemy et de Mavogisa, où des initiatives locales ont été mises en œuvre pour améliorer les conditions de vie des populations.

The tree provides food in the form of its fruit, known as "monkey bread," which is rich in vitamin C and antioxidants. The leaves of the Baobab tree are also used in traditional medicine for treating various ailments. Additionally, the tree's bark and wood are used in construction and for making rope and clothing.
