Madagascar's Ministry of Tourism has announced that, for visits of 15 days or less, travellers will no longer need to pay a visa fee to enter the country. Only a €10 fee for border control formalities is required for such short trips. The cost of 30-day visas remains at €35, and €40 for 60 days (which can be extended to a maximum of 90 days for around €20).

🔎 Decken’s Sifaka is a lemur who lives in the western part of Madagascar. Medium-sized, it has a total length of 92 to 110cm, and weighs 3-4,5kg. The dorsal coat is white-creamy with tints varying from gold to pale brown on the neck. 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒑𝒊𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒄𝒖𝒔 𝒅𝒆𝒄𝒌𝒆𝒏𝒊𝒊 is folivorous. It is a great leaper, as it can jump up to 10m. It is famous for his “dance of Sifaka” while walking on the soil. The best place to find it is Tsingy of Bemaraha. Habitat lost threatens this species.

🔎𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒑𝒊𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒄𝒖𝒔 𝒅𝒆𝒄𝒌𝒆𝒏𝒊𝒊 est une espèce de lémurien vivant dans les forêts décidues sèches. Taille moyenne, longue fourrure soyeuse, blanc crème dans le dos, parsemés de doré à brun pale sur le cou, il mesure entre 92 et 110cm, pour un poids de 3 à 4,5 Kg. Il est populaire par sa démarche de coté en se déplaçant sur le sol comme une dans appelé « danse de Sifaka ».Il est très présents dans la partie occidentale de Madagascar comme dans le Tsingy de Bemaraha, Kasinjy, et Mahavavy-Kinkony. C’est une espèce folivores.Elle est ménacée par la perte de son habitat du au paturages des bétails et la production de charbon.
