The origins and story of MavrovoOutdoors

MavrovoOutdoors was established as a provider of adventure tours and services in 2016. We proudly offer professional mountain guiding programs within the splendor of Mavrovo National Park.

Rock Climbing in Mavrovo (previously Climbing Club Vardar) has been a leading force in the bolting operations for rock climbing routes around Mavrovo, as well as helping to develop the sport of climbing within the region in every way we can: organizing courses, climbing trips and events, rebolting, and so on. Another fundamental goal of MavrovoOutdoors is the development of the Ski Touring potential in the mountain ranges of the Mavrovo Nat’l Park. We explore new routes in search of freeride and ski alpinism sites, as well as performing avalanche danger assessments of the terrain. MavrovoOutdoors is equally passionate about hiking and snowshoeing! We’re exploring new trails, maintaining the old ones, as well as providing maps and complimentary expert advice to every adventurer.

As guides and adventure operators, we provide:

• Ski Touring trips for all levels and ages, within the range of Mavrovo Nat'l Park and beyond (Shara/Jablanica/Pelister)

• Hiking and Snowshoeing trips for all levels and ages, within the whole area of Mavrovo Nat'l Park and beyond (Shara/Pelister)

• Rock Climbing tours and information for beginners and intermediates, as well as info, topo maps, and advice

• Yoga classes given by a certified Yoga teacher, including Yoga experiences in combination with hiking

• Slacklining activities and sessions for groups or individuals, as well as slackline sales and info

• Terrain transport: we provide shuttle operations that fit your needs. We’ll help you access trailheads and provide custom approach solutions, as well as performing terrain evacuations and rescue if necessary.

• Tourist advice: we provide free information about accommodation and gear rental, as well as discounts.
