On a natural platform, above Lake Ohrid – or the White Lake as it was called in the middle ages – the church dedicated to the evangelist St. John the theologian stands on the most beautiful of the town’s spots, known today as Kaneo named after the close by fishing settlement.

Back in 1927 after being consulted by his Royal experts that among other places in the Balkans, the land near the legendary gorge ‘Demir Kapija’ is most fertile and perfect for growing grapes and wine production, King Aleksandar Karadjordjevic decided to build his royal property there.
His ambition was to create a wine and a place with extraordinary quality exclusively for the needs of the Royal Family. The king named the property ‘Queen Maria’ after his wife, Maria Karadjordjevic.

Magnolia Square is a public space and a town square of the City of Bitola, located near the Clock Tower. On the square there is also a statue of Philip II and s beautiful fountain as well. Around the square are old houses from the Macedonian and Ottoman architecture.

Makedonium, also known as the Ilinden monument, is a monument in the city of Kruševo, Macedonia. It is dedicated to all the fighters and revolutionaries who participated in the Ilinden uprising, as well as soldiers-partisans of the Macedonia National Liberation Struggle 1941-1944. It was officially opened on August 2 of 1974, on the 30th anniversary of the Second Session of the Anti-fascist Assembly for the National Liberation of Macedonia and the 71st anniversary of the 1903 Ilinden uprising.

Porta Macedonia is a memorial arch located on Pella Square in Skopje. The arch is dedicated to 20 years of Macedonian independence and its outer surface is covered in 193 m2 of reliefs carved in marble, depicting scenes from the history of Macedonia.

TheClock Tower was built between 1566 and 1572, the clock mechanism was brought from the city of Siged in Hungary. The clock tower is located in the courtyard of the Sultan Murat mosque and is also known as "Saat Camii" amongst the local people. During the 1963 earthquake, the clock tower was seriously damaged and the clock mechanism, was stolen during the 1963 earthquake and hasent been replaced, so far.

Located on the eastern slopes of the mountain Jablanica, 940 meters above sea level, the springs in the village Vevchani, are a monument of nature and ecological zone with a high degree of protection. During the year on this location various religious and other ceremonies are held. The Vevchani village is also home to well-preserved authentic architecture, numerous churches and monasteries as well as being an eco environment.
