Dolphins🐬🌊🐬🌊

That's amazing! Spotting dolphins at Burma Bank is a special experience. Burma Bank is known for being a productive sports fishing ground in the Andaman Sea, and it's also a great spot for marine life sightings, including dolphins.

Were the dolphins you saw a particular species, or did you notice any distinctive features? Spinner dolphins and bottlenose dolphins are often spotted in the region.

Corals တွေရဲ့ရှင်သန်လာပုံက အပိုင်နှစ်ပိုင်းရှိပါတယ် ပထမ-၁ ရှင်သန်နေတဲ့ Living Corals ပါ သူတို့ဟာသေချာတဲ့အချိန် အခြေနေတခုမှာ အတူတူ Spawning လုပ်ကြပါတယ်၊ တချို့က တနှစ်သို့မဟုတ် တရာသီမှာတကြိမ်၊ တချို့တွေက တလမှာတကြိမ် spawning ပြုလုပ်ကြပါတယ်၊ အင်ဒိုနီးရှားမှာ ရှိတဲ့ Corals တွေက တလမှာတခါ spawning ပြုလုပ်ကြပြီး ထိုင်း၊မလေးရှာ၊မြိတ်ကျွန်းစုမှာရှိတဲ့ Corals တွေကတော့ တနစ်မှာ တရာသီ တခါသာ spawning ပြုလုပ်ကြလေ့ရှိပါတယ်။

ပညာရှင်အများစုကတော့ ကမ္ဘာမှာအစောဆုံးဖြစ်တဲ့ Corals တွေရှိတဲ့နေရာဟာ သမုဒ္ဒရာရဲ့ဗဟိုချက်မဖြစ်တဲ့ နေရာလို့ဆိုပါတယ်။ ဒီဗဟိုချက်ကတော့ ကမ္ဘာ့သက်တမ်းအရင့်ဆုံးသော Corals တွေစတင်ပေါက်ဖွားရာ Sulawesi ပါ။

သက်ရှိရှင်သန်နေတဲ့ Living Corals တွေစတင်ပေါက်ဖွားရာ အဆင့်ကိုတော့ Benthic Stage လို့ခေါ်တဲ့ သူတို့ ကျောက်တုံးတွေမှာသူတို့စတင် ကပ်စွဲချိန်ကစတာပါ ဒါကအရမ်းစိတ်ဝင်စား ဖို့ကောင်းပါတယ် Corals မှာ true brain 🧠တကယ်ဦးနောက်အစစ်မရှိပါဘူး ဒါပေမယ့် အထိအတွေ့ကိုသိတဲ့ Nerve Cells တွေလည်းရှိသလို သူတို့ဟာအတူတူအလုပ်လုပ်နိုင်ကြပါတယ်ဒါက အရမ်းဆန်းကျယ်တဲ့သဘောတရားတခုပါ။

#ဒုတိယအနေဖြင့် - သူတို့ဟာ သတ္တကမ္ဘာ သုံးခု three kingdoms ကိုကိုယ်စားပြုတယ် ပထမအချက်က ကျတော်တို့ထင်ကြတဲ့အတိုင်း သူတို့ဟာ သက်ရှိသတ္တဝါ Animals တွေဖြစ်တယ် ဘာကြောင့်လဲဆိုတော့ သူတို့အသက်ရှင်ဖို့ Planktons ဆိုတဲ့အစာကိုစားတယ်၊ မျိုးပွား reproduction လုပ်တယ်၊ ဉဉတယ်၊ ဒါက သတ္တဝါနှင့်တူတယ် - ဒါပေမယ့် သူတို့ဟာအသက်ရှင်ဖို့အဓိကစွမ်းအင်က နေကရတဲ့နေရောင်ခြည်ဖြစ်တယ် နေရောင်ခြည်နှင့် အစာချက်တယ် ဒါကသူတို့ဟာ အပင်နှင့်တူ‌ေနပြန်ပါတယ်။

#တတိယအနေဖြင့်-သူတို့မှာ ပင်မကိုထယ်ရှိတယ် ဒါပေမယ့် သစ်သာမဟုတ်ဘူး သို့သော် သစ်ပင်ကဲသို့ အကိုင်းအခက်တွေထွက်တယ် ဒါကဘယ်သတ္တဝါမှမလုပ်နိုင်တဲ့စွမ်းရည်ပါ ပြီးတော့ သတ္တဝါကဲသို့ Sakeletons အရိုးစုရှိနေပြန်ပါတယ် ဒါကြောင့်သူတို့ဟာ ဦးနောက်မရှိသော်လည်း #အပင်အမျိုးစားသတ္တဝါတွေ ဖြစ်တယ်လို့ ပညာရှင်တွေကဆိုကြတယ်။

နောက်ပြီးသူတို့သဘာဝ အ‌‌ေလျှာက်သေတယ် Corals တွေသေ တဲ့အပိုင်းက တကယ်တော့ သန္တာကျောက်တန်းထိမ်းသိမ်းရေး Corals Conservation အပိုင်းမှာ Dead Corals ကအရေးကြီးဆုံးအပိုင်းဖြစ်ပါတယ် လူအများစုထင်တာက Dead Corals အသေတွေကအရေးမကြီးဘူးလို့ထင်ကြတယ် တကယ်တော့ Dead Corals အသေတွေကလည်း ရှင်နေတဲ့ Living Corals အရှင်တွေကဲသို့အရမ်းအရေးကြီးပါတယ် ဘာကြောင့်လဲးဆို သူတို့ရဲ့ အရိုးစုတွေဟာ Calcium Carbonate ကယ်လ်စီယမ် ကာဗွန်နိတ်တွေ ဖြစ်နေလို့ပါပဲ့။

ကျတော်တို့ကသာ ပျက်စီးသွားတဲ့ Corals တွေပြန်စိုက်မယ် Corals Conservation လုပ်မည့်သူတွေဆိုရင် ဒီအခြေခံ Basic အကြောင်းတရားကိုသိထားဖို့များစွာ အရေးကြီးပါတယ် လူတွေက သဘာဝအတိုင်သေနေတဲ့ Corals တွေအများကြီးတွေ့ရင် ဒါကအတော်ဆိုတာပဲ့လို့ ပြောကြမှာ ဒါပေမယ့်ဒါက မထူးဆန်းပါဘူး Geological life Cycle ရဲ့သဘောတရားအရသာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

Corals Spawning ပြုလုပ်ခြင်ကိုပြန်ပြောပါမယ် Corals Spawning ပြုလုပ်နေခြင်းက Corals တွေ fertilize ဖြစ် မျိုးအောင်ပြီး reproduction အနေနှင့်ရေထဲကိုသူတို့ရဲ့ ဉတွေထုတ်လွတ်နေခြင်းဖြစ်ပါတယ် တချို့ Corals တွေကတပင်တည်းမှာ မျိုးပွားအင်္ဂါနှစ်ခုရှိပြီး internally သူတို့ရဲ့ပင်စည်ထဲးမှာမျိုးအောင်ပါတယ် ပြီးတော့ ရေထဲးကို ဉအနေနှင် Spawning တိုက်ရိုက်လွတ်ထုတ်ကြပါတယ်။ တချို့ Corals တွေမှာတော့ အထီးအမကွဲးပါတယ် ဒါကြောင့် သူတို့မျိုးပွားဖို့ အချိန်ကိုက်Spawning လုပ်ဖို့ timing လိုပါတယ် ဉပမာသုတ် S***m တွေကိုရေထဲးကို အချိန်ကိုက် လွတ်ထုတ်ပြီး ရေထဲမှာဆုံပြီး မျိုးအောင်ကြပါတယ်။

Corals တွေ Spawning လုပ်တဲ့အခါ သန်နှင့်ချီမျိုး‌ေအာင်တဲ့ဉ Corals eggs တွေကိုရေထဲကိုလွတ်ထုတ်လိုက်ပါတယ် အဲဒီဉတွေဟာ ပင်လယ်ရေစီးနှင့်ရေပေါ်မျောပါနေတယ် အဲတာကို Planktonic Stage လို့ခေါ်ပြီး ဒီအချိန်မှာသူတို့မှာ အရိုစု မရှိတဲအတွက် ရေထဲပျော်ဝင်နေတဲ့ ဂျယ်လီအ‌ေသး‌ေလးလိုပေါ၊ သူတို့အဲမှတဆင့် သူတို့အရိုးစုလေးတွေဖြစ်တည်လာဖို့ ရေထဲးက Calcium တွေကိုစုပ်ယူရတဲ့အတွက် သူတို့ရဲ့ကိုယ်ထည်တွေဟာ တဖြေးဖြေးလေးလာ တွယ်ကပ်ဖို့လက်ချောင်းလေးတွေ တဖြေးဖြေးထွက်လာပြီး Planula Larvae stage လို့ခေါ်တဲ့သားလောင်းအဆင့်ကို ရောက်လာပြီး ရေထဲက calcium တွေပိုပြီး စုပ်ယူများလာတာနှင့်အမျှ သူတို့ရဲခန္ဓာကိုယ် ‌‌ေတွဟာ လေးလာပြီး တဖြေးဖြေး‌ေရ‌ေအာက်ကြမ်းပြင်ကိုမြုပ် sinking ဖြစ်လာပါတယ် သူတို့ဟာရေမှာမကူးနိုင်တဲ့အတွက် ရေစီးနှင့် အထိန်းကွပ်မဲ့စွာ မြောပါနေပြီးပင်လယ်ကြမ်းပြင်ကိုမြုပ်ကျသွားပြီး တချို့က သဲရှိတဲ့ရေအောက်ကြမ်းပြင်၊တချို့က Corals တွေပေါ်မှာရှိတဲ့အချွဲး Algae တွေပေါ်ကိုကျရောက်ကြပါတယ်၊ အဓိကအားဖြင့်အတော်များများက ရေအောက်သဲရှိတဲ့ကြမ်းပြင်တွေပေါ်ကျပြီး သဲတွေက ရွေလျှားတတ်တဲ့အတွက် သဲဖံုးအုပ်ပြီး Suffocating ဖြစ်ပြီး သေသွားကြပါတယ် တချို့ကလည် Corals Algae တွေပေါ်ကျစေကပ်ပြီးသေ/ပြီးတော့ ငါးတွေ/သံပခြုပ်တွေ၊ ပင်လယ်မျောတွေနှင့် အခြားသောရေသတ္တဝါတွေစားပြီး သေ ကျေပျက်စီးကုန်ကြပါတယ်။

ဒီအထဲကမှ အရမ်းနည်းလှတဲ့ Planula Larvae လို့ခေါ်တဲ့ Corals သားလောင်းတချို့ကသာ ကျောက် တုံးတွေမှာသွားတွယ်ကပ်ပြီး ရှင်သန်တဲ့ New Corals အသစ်တွေစတင်ပေါက်ဖွားဖို့ဖြစ်လာပါတယ်၊ ဒီအဆင်ကို Benthic stage လို့‌ေခါ်တဲ့အတွက် Life Cycle of the Corals အစဟာ ကစတာပါ လို့ပြောကြခြင်းဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

အပိုင်(၂) အနေနှင့် Life Cycle of the Coral and Food Chain ကိုထပ်ရေးပေးပါမယ်၊ ကျတော်အနေနှင့် Marine Biologist တယောက်မဟုတ် သလို သင်တန်းက Online အင်္ဂလိပ်စကားပြောကို ဘာသာပြန်တဲ့အတွက် အမှာပါရင် သီးခံထောက်ပြကြပါ။

Introduction

Located only 180km to the north of Phuket, consisting of eight hundred islands and covering ten thousand square miles,the Mergui Archipelago, Myanmar (Burma) had been opened for all foreigners since 1997.

The beautiful area is still untouched by modern development and the majority of the islands are densely forested and mountainous, with impenetrable jungle meeting white sand Beaches.

The islands and surrounding sea are alive with an amazing diversity of wildlife,flora and faun.
Many species of birds and animals.

The only human inhabitants in the area are the Sea Gypsies.a nomadic sea-faring race whose lifestyle has changed very little over the year by years,and who still practice the same fishing and boat building technique used for generations.

Myanmar has three distinctive seasons; hot season (March to May), rainy season (June to October), and the cool season (November to February).

Mergui Archipelago season and temperatures are similar to Phuket with a dry north east monsoon and wet south west monsoon. The best time to visit the Mergui Archipelago is Mid October to Mid April.

Lampi marine national park island is located at about 50nutical miles away from north-west of Kawthaung in the Mergui Archipelago Area. It's only one marine national park of Myanmar and deisignated as marine national park in 1996, since after visit Myanmar year. National park area was more than 50600 arcas wide, it's combined with major Lampi island and about 20smaller islands are surroundings. The major Lampi island was alittle bent oriented in North to South direction with a lenght of 29miles long and almost 4miles width. It's hilly, rocky coast with many sandy beaches,bays and alot of islets. The island covered by lowland evergreen forest, many different species of mangroves forest along the island river, fresh-water sources and many beaches around the island.
The island protect a rich of biodiversity with many endangered species of birds and 68 different species of mangroves 80 among the world mangroves species. Many areas of island covered by coral reefs, seagrass beds which serve as important habitats for such as molluscs,fishes, seaturtles and one of rare critically endangered species of the area dugongs.
The lampi marine national park also provide food,water and many sources for local Seagipsy Community,who's living around park area.
Lampi marine national park easily can get from either Yangoon, Myanmar or Ranong, Thailand. Everyday, many domestic flights are landing at Kawthaung airport in the high season which only takes 2 hours and 45 minutes from Yangoon. Myanmar Union hi-way road from Yangon to Kawthaung have been made by Union Government which takes about 30hour drive by express-bus.

From Thailand, just take 45minutes ride by local long-tail boats accrossing Parchan river from Ranong to Kawthaung and only costs around 300 or 400 Thai Baht.
And then, you can book through Myanmar local licensed tour company to reach Lampi Marine National Park. International visitors are require E-visa or Tourist visa and also special permit which are arranged by local licensed tour company. If you want to visit Lamp National Park by live aboard or your private sailing yacht, you will need to apply for special permits from the Union Government through our Burma Sailing Tours/Yacht agent and it is needed to apply at least two weeks in advance before you enter to Myanmar water!
At present, accommodation for international visitors still limited in park area. There, only two WaAle Eco Resort and AALUA Hotel & Resort are available in the park area, at the moment.
Domestic visitors are not require permits to visit Lampi Marine National Park and easily can book through local tour company.
The best time to visit Lampi is October to April during the Myanmar dry season.
The island has some roosting trees for Plain-pouched Hornbills and best time to watch them in December to April.
