🌈🙏🌈A few years ago, it was famous as a sunset pagoda and we had chance to see panoramic view of Bagan from the upper terraces of Shwe Sandaw pagoda 🌼
🙏🌈🙏But, for now , climbing up ,all of the pagodas in Bagan is prohibited. The reason is to protect and maintain such very ancient temples and monuments.🌼

💛Firstly, we chopp the banana bud into small pieces.

💛And then, sink in water with turmeric powder, after a few minutes filter it and boil again.

💛It is ready to make salad with various ingredients; bean powder, peanut, chilli powder, onion, green chillies, fish-sauce, dried shrimps and peanut oil.

🔸It locates at Bago,it is the first and foremost Sīmā in Myanmar.
🔸At the time of King Dhammaceti, he arranged to send 22 monks to Sri Lanka in 1476. 🔸Some monks passed away on the way back.
🔸The monks brought the sand from Kalu Gingar river from Ceylon (in English - Kalyānī river)
🔸When they arrived back at Bago they spread the sand on the ground at the specific place to build Sīmā.
🔸 Sīmā means ordination hall and it plays as the most important role in Buddha's dispensation (Sāsanā).
🔸For a newly monk, there is no chance to become a monk without reciting by elder monks together at the ordination hall. So, to be an ordained monk, Sīmā is necessary in Buddhism.
