Myanmar Tourex Travel Service Ltd. was established in Yangon in 1994 by a family of Myanmar nationals. As Myanmar opened its door to the world only in 1988, initiated market-oriented economy and allowed private businesses to participate in some industries, all of Myanmar travel agencies are still young with a few years' experience and Myanmar Tourex is no exception.
