The company began manufacturing Bright Iron Wire Nails, Plain GI, and Corrugated GI under “Lucky Star” Brand, wholesale distributions channel under “May Yu” Hardware Shop at Sawbwargyigone Steel Market in Yangon. While exploring the natural resources of Myanmar, and viewing global demands for high valued food products, Asia Winner Industrial Ltd. continued to diversify and established own Processing Plant, capable of processing "100 MT per day" and storing 4,500 MT of marine products under “May Yu Marine Products Co., Ltd”, (“MYM”), in 2002, supplying frozen marine products to the world. AWI continued to diversify and established “Agritrade International Ltd.” in 2005, importing pharmaceutical products to Myanmar and 14 Branches in every corner of Myanmar. AWI took over the Rice Mills Factory from Government in 2008 and continued their Export Agricultural Products as well as Process & Export Frozen Meats Products under “Al Ameena” Brand and Frozen Vegetables Products under "AWI" Brand. In order to reach out to the local demands and needs in Steel Market, AWI expands their wholesale distribution channel in South Dagon Steel Market in Yangon, Bawgathiri in Nay Pyi Taw, and Kyouttakar in Bago division. In the year of 2001 – 2002, AWI achieved Top Export Awards from the Ministry of Commerce and 2002 – 2003, AWI achieved again the top Export Awards from the Ministry of Commerce. In 2003-2004, AWI achieved the second top Export Awards from the Ministry of Commerce. In 2005, AWI achieved the Top Exporter Awards from FAO and Livestock & Fisheries in Myanmar. In 2006, AWI achieved the Top Exporter Awards from FAO and Livestock & Fisheries in Myanmar. In 2007, AWI achieved the Top Exporter Awards from FAO and Livestock & Fisheries in Myanmar. In 2007 - 2008, AWI achieved the Top Exporter Awards from Department of Fisheries in Myanmar. In 2008, AWI achieved the Top Exporter Awards from FAO and Livestock & Fisheries in Myanmar. In 2009, AWI have achieved MPEA Honour Certificate for EU Approved and HACCP Approved Certificate from Global UK in 2010. In 2013, AWI have achieved the HACCP approved Certificate from Department of Fisheries (DOF). Understanding the local market importance for manufacturing of Gas Cylinder, AWI expands their investments in Local market in order to pe*****te through to the local demands and needs by taking over the LPG Cylinder Making Factory from Government in 2012. To further add, AWI continued their Investments in Mining; Importing Cooking Oil; Hotel Projects, and Joint Ventures with big companies. Before Opening ceremony Sea Games Myanmar 2013, AWI & Groups of Shareholder Companies successfully opened “Royal Lotus” Hotel in Nay Pyi Taw.
