EVENT TO HONOR VETERANS
Veterans were honored on the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Modern Armed Forces and the 76th anniversary of the Victory in the Liberation War 1945.
24 veterans living in the capital city paid tribute to the flags of the divisions they fought in (5th, 6th, 7th, 8th divisions of the Mongolian People's Revolutionary Army, Air Force Division) at the entrance to the veterans' residences and fences due to the COVID-19. The military musicians and singers marched, sang songs, and held a small tribute event.

Heavy dust storm hits Mongolia, China and Korea
A very strong yellow dust storm originating from the Mongolia hit China and Korean peninsula.
Six people, including five herdsmen and one child, were found dead after a heavy dust storm hit Mongolia, the emergency management department said on Monday.
In a statement, the department said it had received reports of 548 missing people from nine provinces across the country between Saturday night and Monday morning.
So far, 467 people have been found and rescuers were trying to locate 81 who were still unaccounted for, it said.
Meanwhile, local media reported that some areas in western Mongolia experienced large-scale power cuts over the weekend due to the storm.
On Monday, Beijing and other Chinese cities were shrouded by what the local weather agencies call the biggest sandstorm in a decade due to the same heavy winds blowing in from the Gobi Desert and nearby regions.
