What a peaceful place. This stunning fresh water lake is called Tolbo Nuur located in Western Mongolia.
Elevation is at 2,080 meters (6,820 ft) high. Tolbo lake is also known as 100 kazan(100 pots). The reason why is the lake has 100 deep places that are just like pots.
The lake was the site of the Battle of Tolbo Lake (1921) during the Russian Civil War where Bolsheviks and Mongolian allies defeated an army of White Russians

Beautiful day at the Khongoryn Els. These dunes are the largest accumulation of sand in the Gobi Gurvan Saikhan National Park. The spectacular dunes are bordered by lush green vegetation supported by the Khongoryn Gol river, which is fed by underground sources from surrounding mountains.
