Simula ngayong darating na Pebrero 1, tatanggalin na ang pagsailalim sa mandatory facility-based quarantine ng mga fully vaccinated na returning overseas Filipinos (ROF) at iba pang mga biyahero.

Ayon kay Acting Presidential Spokesperson Karlo Nograles, kinakailangan na lamang umanong magpakita ng RT-PCR test na mayroong negatibong resulta na kanilang kinuha bago umalis sa pinagmulang bansa.

Samantala, ang mga unvaccinated at partiallyy vaccinated na mga biyahero ay kailangan magpakita ng isang negatibong resulta ng RT-PCR test na kinuha 48 oras bago umalis sa pinanggalingang bansa ngunit kinakailangan pa rin nilang sumailalim sa facility-based quarantine hangga't hindi ito nagnenegatibo sa RT-PCR test na gagawin sa ika-5 araw.

Kinakailangan din nitong mag-home quarantine ng 14 araw simula nang dumating sila sa bansa.

Kaugnay nito, inanunsyo rin ni Nograles na pansamantalang sinususpinde ang green, yellow at red classification ng mga bansa, teritoryo at jurisdictions base sa mga rekomendasyon ng Task Force on COVID-19 New Variants at Sub-Technical Working Group on Data Analytics

"The travel risk classification is suspended unless we bring it back due to an emerging variant of concern." dagdag pa nito.

NEW MEASURES FOR FOREIGNERS

Macau authorities have announced new measures for foreigners wishing to enter Macau. This entrance has to be authorized by local authorities and those wishing to apply need to fulfill certain criteria. Please ‼‼‼check the details below‼‼‼

This only applies to the following people:

- Those with permission to reside in Macau that have not yet the Macau ID
- Blue card holders with valid blue card
- People who are authorized by the local authorities to enter for work
- Family members of the above mentioned people and these family members also need to have a special authorization to stay in Macau
- Husband, wife or direct family members of Macau residents
- Students who have been accepted by a local institution
- People who are invited to participate in economic, academic or professional activities

All those wishing to apply need to fulfill the following criteria:

-They need to be 21 days in Hong Kong before entering Macau

-They need to quarantine 14 more days in Macau

-They need to be vaccinated with vaccines recognized in Hong Kong or have a medical certificate saying they cannot be vaccinated (this applies to all from 12 years old)

-They need a negative nucleic acid test

-They need authorization from local authorities. The application can be done online starting on the 15th of September and only then the link for applications will be announced. For more information please contact 2870 0800
