From a cruise to a running tour?!
Yes, it can happen when 2 runners want to explore a new city in a short time.
Joe from San Francisco 🇺🇸 and Anna from Mexico 🇲🇽 is the perfect example when running and willing to get know a new place can do the job.
It was a pleasure to guide you around Valletta: with a tailor made tour of 10 km we covered the main sightseeing and after the hills we enjoyed the reward of a magnificent panoramic view!

A Trail running tour on a vacation!?
Yeah, that's what this nice couple from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 have just made this morning 🌅

Running, Friendship and discovering new places: this summer has been a blast.
We supported each other along the way, every kilometer and finished with a smile on our faces at the end of the race , ,

Review of the day *****
"We really enjoyed our running tour in beautiful Valletta with Umberto. The history and the run was so enjoyable! Umberto collected us from our hotel and dropped us back off again, this was a very personal touch. My 2 young daughters came along and the sun was set at a nice gentle pace so they could manage. Throughly enjoyed and would recommend! Gemma"
Thank you so much 😊

Hero or villain!? This is Diego Maradona EL DIEGO
This month is all about football, so reading a book of one of the world's greatest footballers will bring you back so many memories especially if you were from the 80s 😀
No spoilers here, but if you are looking for anecdotes and all the situations he encountered during those years then enjoy the reading.
From the beginning till the end of his career, this story will never get boring.
This is the book of the month.

It takes a while to digest all the emotions that a bike trip to Sicily can make. Even though there is no running involved this time, still outdoor activities together with the opportunity to explore new places is worth mentioning.
Biking 500 Km in 6 days to cover just a tiny part of Sicily, yeah this island is huge!
Landscape changed so much moving from the coast to the inner part, from one tiny village to another. It has been a fantastic ride where I had the chance to:
Bike all the coastal roads from Pozzallo to Gela passing by different areas from Marina di Ragusa to Scoglitti. On your way you are riding while enjoying the view of the sea, sandy beaches and peach trees.
Moving inland was the mountain biker challenge: elevation gain +560 metres to reach Butera and enjoy the panoramic view from its castle.
Pietraperzia, Caltanissetta, Canicattì and then moving towards the coast again before approaching Favara. Chiaromonte Castle has been the highlight of this little hidden gem before moving to Agrigento and the Valley of the Temples.
Passing by places such as Licata where there is no sign of mass tourism has been my favorite choice though.
History, heritage, nature, panoramic views, camping, living the outdoor adventure, culinary traditions, friendly advice from the bartenders and random people along the way to get that road instead of the GPS one: Sicily is a magic place with amazing people.

📚 Book of the month
Ultra Marathon Man - Dean Karnazes
I've come across this book during a running tour with an ultra marathoner customer 😀 and that's the beauty of this passion.
Dean shared his journey through mad running experiences that I cannot spoil.
Personally I also found his useful advice on nutrition and how to get the right attitude to overcome any issues along the madness of his journey.
If you are looking for some inspiration, there you go!
