STAR Awards - The Special Thanks and Recognition Awards The STAR Awards Malta are an important initiative through which the Malta Tourism Authority is able to give public recognition to people who work directly or contribute indirectly in the tourism and hospitality industry. Nominations for STAR Awards Malta 2017 are welcome from 1st January 2018 till the 31st December 2018. The award ceremony for STAR Awards Malta 2018 will be held in February 2019. Nominations can be submitted online on www.starawardsmalta.com or through nomination forms available at hotels and visitor attractions sights in Malta and Gozo. Participants automatically enter the chance to win two flight tickets and accommodation for two to Malta. A grand lottery is drawn on the 21st January of every year. STAR Awards Malta winners in 2015, 2016 and 2017 are not eligible for the 2018 Awards. Establishments interested in participating in the STAR Awards Malta may collect STAR nomination forms free of charge from the MTA Head Office in Smart City.
