Quayside Apartments are family run self-catering apartments in the picturesque traditional fishing village of Marsaxlokk, Malta. The apartments, which are easily accessible by bus and by car, originate from a large 19th century house of character, expertly converted to self-catering apartments finished to a very high standard, retaining various authentic and rustic features. Each apartment enjoys

loads of natural light and boasts unobstructed breath taking sea views from all floors. They are a few metres away from the water's edge and a stone throw away from the village centre. All apartments have a flat screen TV with a good choice of EURO channels (provided by Melita plc - one of the largest media providers in Malta), a granite kitchenette top, fridge/freezer, 2 gas hobs, microwave/oven/grill and many other kitchen amenities. All apartments have interconnecting rooms (furnished by internal Swedish pine doors and American Walnut furniture) - making it ideal for family holidays or groups of friends travelling together. Each apartment consists of: a living room, shower room with continuous hot water supply (since bathrooms are serviced by LPG water heaters), a double or two single beds, sofa bed, wardrobe (with some apartments having a walk-in wardrobe), pre-paid telephone system, common washing facilities (i.e. All apartments boast of air-conditioned bedrooms, heating, Wi-Fi internet and a safety deposit box; all of which are included in the price. Upon arrival, linen and towels are provided at no additional charge. Apartments are cleaned every week, although cleaning services are available upon request at an additional cost. Complimenting these self-catering apartments are characteristic features such as ancient flagstone and old patterned Maltese floor tiles, stone slab floors, masonry stone arches, stone ceiling slabs (known as ‘xorok’ in Maltese), heavy wooden ceiling beams and large solid steel front door hooks amongst other features. All apartments lead to a common mature garden with a lovely relaxing patio area furnished with luxurious Rattan furniture. A common barbecue area and plenty of space for young ones to enjoy themselves while adults can sit back, relax and enjoy basking in the sun even in winter times. Considering that the average yearly temperature is around 23°C (73°F) during the day and 16°C (61°F) at night and that Malta enjoys one of the most optimal number of hours of daylight in Europe; the garden, patio and barbecue area will surely be of a great asset to many staying at Quayside Apartments.
