✈️ From today to the 24th January, our very own Erika Farrugia Harding and Esperanza Moreno are at FITUR in Madrid. They will be more than happy to welcome you on the Visit Malta Stand number 4E10. They can be seen in good company here with Ignacio de Miguel Martín from Hilton Malta. ✨

As we approach the festive season, we want to take a moment to reflect on the journey we've shared this year.

It has been a remarkably challenging year however one which has helped us grow as individuals and as a company.

We have grown from strength to strength and are so grateful to our clients who constantly trust us with some exceptional events, and all our suppliers who ensure we deliver on the Mi-ers promise. 🙂

However, as we celebrate, let’s also remember those who are less fortunate. The holidays can be a challenging time for many, and our collective efforts can bring warmth and joy to those in need. Whether through volunteering, donating, or simply spreading kindness, every small act makes a difference.

Looking ahead, we are excited about the opportunities that the New Year will bring. Let’s carry forward the spirit of compassion and community to make an even greater impact together.

This week, we’re out meeting incredible clients across Belgium and the Netherlands!

After kicking things off at the BBT Networking Event on Monday, Julian Friggieri from MI Malta and Michelle Hulsman from are now driving from Antwerp to Brussels to Amsterdam. They’re busy showcasing why Malta is the ultimate destination for corporate and incentive travel while building valuable connections along the way.

👋 Erika and Cinzia are currently on a sales blitz in Italy promoting the Maltese islands and focusing on all the MICE possibilities the archipelago has to offer. They are reaching out to friends and clients in Genova, Torino and Milano.

We have been working with Cinzia and Morgana from "About Travel" for a while now and they have been nothing short of magnificent.

Our representative partners in Italy love what they do as much as we do! 🙂

End of month drinks! 🍻

On the last Friday of the month we gather in what we fondly refer to as our “kitchroom” (part kitchen/part meeting room - however much more of a hangout area for the Mi-ers) and celebrate life at Mi.

Last Friday our super duper .friggieri decided to take it to another level. He brought in mulled wine and a home made ricotta and spinach pie which he baked himself.

We love you even more now Julian! 🙂

🌍 We live in a very busy world and the hospitality industry is one of the most beautiful diverse industries one can come across. Some of the Mi-ers last week spent a few days with some amazing human beings who put the brakes on the busy schedules they live by. 😊

Not just exceptionally good at what they do, but truly “good people”. We showed them the islands from the eyes of a local, sharing with them beautiful experiences and introducing them to some locals who are truly inspirational people.

They stayed at one of the most beautiful properties on the islands and dined in some of the finest locations we have. However, above all, we shared beautiful experiences which are unique to our islands and our people. This is what the Mi-ers and the Maltese islands are all about. We want to ensure clients leave our islands with a beautiful experience. 😊

Some of the Mi-ers have during the past year been following “growth workshops” led by Daphne Grech Cumbo and Nathan Farrugia, organized by UP Your Level - Performance Advisory, Coaching & Training. It has been an immersive experience that underscored the value of stepping outside the usual work environment to learn, share, and think differently.

Through interactive sessions, the team explored key principles like mindfulness, effective communication, and how to perform better as a cohesive unit. These events help realign focus, build stronger interpersonal relationships, and foster a collective growth mindset. They’re not just about individual development, they’re about creating a team that thrives together, both professionally and personally.

By embracing such opportunities we unlock new ways to think, act, and excel as a better team, ready to tackle challenges and grow in the most meaningful ways. We are always working towards doing what we love better, that is who the Mi-ers are. 😊
