End of month drinks! 🍻

On the last Friday of the month we gather in what we fondly refer to as our “kitchroom” (part kitchen/part meeting room - however much more of a hangout area for the Mi-ers) and celebrate life at Mi.

Last Friday our super duper .friggieri decided to take it to another level. He brought in mulled wine and a home made ricotta and spinach pie which he baked himself.

We love you even more now Julian! 🙂

🌍 We live in a very busy world and the hospitality industry is one of the most beautiful diverse industries one can come across. Some of the Mi-ers last week spent a few days with some amazing human beings who put the brakes on the busy schedules they live by. 😊

Not just exceptionally good at what they do, but truly “good people”. We showed them the islands from the eyes of a local, sharing with them beautiful experiences and introducing them to some locals who are truly inspirational people.

They stayed at one of the most beautiful properties on the islands and dined in some of the finest locations we have. However, above all, we shared beautiful experiences which are unique to our islands and our people. This is what the Mi-ers and the Maltese islands are all about. We want to ensure clients leave our islands with a beautiful experience. 😊

Some of the Mi-ers have during the past year been following “growth workshops” led by Daphne Grech Cumbo and Nathan Farrugia, organized by UP Your Level - Performance Advisory, Coaching & Training. It has been an immersive experience that underscored the value of stepping outside the usual work environment to learn, share, and think differently.

Through interactive sessions, the team explored key principles like mindfulness, effective communication, and how to perform better as a cohesive unit. These events help realign focus, build stronger interpersonal relationships, and foster a collective growth mindset. They’re not just about individual development, they’re about creating a team that thrives together, both professionally and personally.

By embracing such opportunities we unlock new ways to think, act, and excel as a better team, ready to tackle challenges and grow in the most meaningful ways. We are always working towards doing what we love better, that is who the Mi-ers are. 😊

This week some of the Mi-ers had the pleasure to visit “the new kid on the block” in Malta, as the Me Malta by MELIÁ Hotels & Resorts officially opens its doors this coming Friday.

The hotel is truly beautiful and the owners have furnished the property to the highest standards. The new Me Malta is located within the Mercury Towers, home to Malta’s highest skyscraper. Welcome to the rock Me! 😊

These past few weeks at MI Malta were hectic to say the least! After a couple of months prepping, the Mi-ers were out doing what they do best. 💪

While some of us were away bouncing around different corners of the Med on incentive trips, others were making sure weeks of planning Malta based events went off without a hitch.

This extended summer weather sure helped us with that too! 🌞

Please meet Pol our latest addition to the team! 😊

Our Spanish colleague has joined us here in Malta and will certainly complement our Spanish contingent. Pol brings enthusiasm, positivity and so many fresh ideas. With a background in business and sales, his career has always been focused on providing excellent customer service, creating new business opportunities, and building a community.

In his freetime Pol enjoys running and boxing and now is also eager to start diving in the Maltese waters.
