Wishing you all a Happy Easter!

Easter is the most important religious event in Malta 🇲🇹, a predominantly Roman Catholic country, as it commemorates the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.

On Easter Sunday, a procession with the statue of the Risen Christ takes place in many villages and towns in Malta and Gozo.

The statue-bearers are joined by other devotees as they embark on short, celebratory 🎉 runs while carrying the statue of the Risen Christ to the delight of the crowds.

The newly renovated Grandmaster's Palace dating back to the 16th century is open for the public again.
This building served also as the Seat of EU Presidency between January and June 2017 before the huge restoration project started.

Join us for a tour around this impressive building and get closer to one of the largest suit of armours collection in Europe.
Walk through the halls and rooms which were used by various Grandmasters throughout the centuries.
