Maleth Inn Guesthouse opened its doors for guests in 2017 with a total of 5 rooms, all with own kitchenette and private bathroom, most with a balcony or terrace enjoying great views of Howard Gardens and Mdina ('Maleth' being the original name given to this beautiful ancient city). Attention to detail ensures the accommodation provides every comfort holiday-makers might require. Retaining all its
original features, the guest house offers 5 differently-themed rooms: one small single/double room, two double/triple rooms (one of which is at ground floor level), one large family room accommodating up to 4 guests, and the penthouse suite with private terrace enjoying fantastic views, which can also accommodate up to 4 guests. We are able to welcome guests with restricted mobility in our ground floor room, as the rest of the rooms are accessed by stairs with no lift. The house is located 5 minutes walk from Mdina gate, just across the street from Howard Gardens and 200 metres away from Roman Villa. One minute walk away is the Rabat Interchange where several buses depart for Valletta (45 minute journey) and all other significant destinations. Also a few minutes walk away from shops, baker, pharmacy, bank, restaurants, bars, souvenir shops, fine clothing and jewellery. The alley on the first corner will take you into a labyrinth of alleys where you can get a glimpse of the locals’ daily life and activities in the heart of Rabat. The location is only 5km away from Dingli Ciffs and 10km away from the nicest beaches on the island Ghajn Tuffieha Bay, Golden Bay, Popeye's Village and Mellieha Bay. As for nightlife, Rabat & Mdina offer a quieter alternative to the entertainment centre of Paceville/St. Julians, and as such are not considered typical nightlife destinations. However it is worth mentioning that two of Malta’s largest and most popular nightclubs on the islands are located on the outskirts of Rabat. Gianpula Complex and Numero Uno, both of which are open from Friday to Sunday with various events and international dj’s, are located a short taxi ride away from our guesthouse. The guest house has self check-in facilities and guests may be accommodated at any time of day or night (one-night stays also accepted, but no events or parties are allowed).
