At the turn of the new year, MTS Globe Malta received a booking for it's 500,000th package holiday client to the Maltese Islands.
Set up 12 years ago and specialising in individual traffic, MTS Globe Malta has become a leading DMC company. A big thank you to our local partners Robert Arrigo & Sons and to all our suppliers, especially our partner hotels who were instrumental in our growth. Thanks also to the Malta Tourism Authority who showed their support from the start.
Looking forward to reaching 1 million clients in the next years.

We are looking for a Commercial Executive to join us in our Commercial team in Malta.

Our business is growing; therefore, we are looking for a proactive and curious person who wishes to develop their professional career within our Commercial department.

Main Responsibilities:
• Constant correspondence with a portfolio of foreign agents to help them grow their business in Malta through our company
• Periodic calls with Product / Sales managers of core agents
• Negotiating special offers and flash sales with hotels and loading them on our internal system
• Portfolio mapping checks and choosing core hotels
• Creating and finalising marketing campaigns: for specific and also generic for all clients
• Keeping up to date with information about the availability and pricing of flights to Malta to adapt to offers and campaigns and opening new source markets
• Update of hotel info and set ups in the internal system
• Other tasks delegated to you will be included. Full training will be given accordingly

Requirements:
• Prior experience in a commercial or product department in a DMC or hotel will be valued
• Negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
• Self-starter, able to work with autonomy and self-management skills within a team
• Solutions orientated, looking for innovative solutions to overcome challenges in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work in a multinational and continuous changing environment and able to interact with different nationalities
• Willing to travel
• Able to correspond fluently in English. The ability to correspond in any other language, in particular German / Polish, will be considered an asset.

Movember is an annual event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of men's health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men's su***de. It is a portmanteau of the Australian-English diminutive word for moustache, "mo", and "November"

By encouraging men to get involved, Movember aims to increase early cancer detection, diagnosis and effective treatments, and ultimately reduce the number of preventable deaths.

MTS Globe Group and Robert Arrigo & Sons employees have raised €355 in aid of this cause.

MTS Globe Malta, in collaboration with the Malta Tourism Authority last week hosted a fam trip of Polish agents and staff from EXIM Tours, the No. 1 operator to the Maltese islands from Poland.

The agents gave a score of 5 on 5 for organisation and programme and commented that they had a great time and are now richer in knowledge about our destination that will enable them to sell Malta and Gozo better.
