Bodyless is about reconstructing and retelling African (im)migration and refugee narratives as they meet Maltese audiences in live storytelling, creative writing and visual art. The project is led by Kopin with the participation of Farah Abdullah Abdi, a Somali who came to Malta from Kenya and Glen Calleja, a Maltese artist and poet. This project is realised with the financial assistance of the M
alta Arts Fund, UNHCR and IOM(International Organisation for Migration). The main outcome of the project are a visual arts exhibition, a poetry book in Maltese and a travel diary. The project is implemented in cooperation with the Malta Arts Council, Inizjamed, the Malta Mediterranean Literature Festival, the Malta Maritime Museum, the Foundation for Valletta 2018 and a number of other organisations both locally and abroad.
