Great thank you to Mr. Garcia who hosted our guests and showed us the beauty of Palazzin Sapiento in Valletta . The most impresive were portraits of Grand Master King Peter II Karadjordjevic , the chapel with a fragment , original signature of Grand Master Jean La Vallette and many more .
Palazzin is situated in Malta’s capital city Valletta, directly opposite to the old Collegium Melitense (now the University of Malta Valletta Campus) stands the International Headquarters of the Order of St John of Jerusalem, Knights Hospitaller.
This beautiful two floor Baroque building ‘Palazzino Sapienti’ dates from 1629 when Fra Nicolo Sollima, then the Collegium Melitense Rector, was recorded as residing directly opposite the University’s entrance. (Entrata da Strada San Paolo). An engraving of ‘LA NVOVA CITTA E’ FORTEZZA DI MALTA CHIAMATA VALLETTA’ shows the building already standing in 1582 albeit with a thatched roof.

1 May 2024 , izlet na ostrvo Gozo sa vodicem na srpskom jeziku. Polazak iz Gżire u 09:00 , organizovanim autobusom ka Cirkewi gde se ukrcavamo na feri. Posle 20ak minuta izlazak na Gozo gde nastavljamo nas izlet posetom crkvi Ta Pina, Dwejra bay, Glavni grad Viktorija I lokalnu vinariju. Povratak u Slimu oko 17-17:30 h. Cena izleta 40 eur po osobi .
