One of the standout moments of the year was catching a 220KG Bluefin Tuna, a remarkable accomplishment that set a new Maltese record for being caught with a fishing rod and spinning reel. Today was amazing with locals 🇲🇹🙏

Luke and his mates never been big game fishing and they got there dreams come true 🫡

We managed to catch a maximum size bonito which unfortunately its had eggs ( bottarga ) we of course kept it because we dont like to waste anything!

Although the trip started a-bit late we still tried our best to make sure to have a successful morning. We started hooking up blue fin tuna and bonitos at the same time and was impossible to handle 2rods at once , since our customers never handle such big fish 🤯

They asked if we can focus to catch smaller tuna species and we sure did!

Thanks guys, see you again in October for round 2 😁

Big boy season 😛

After we caught him and we practiced c&r he stayed roaming around us for 15 mins! The swordfish was about 10-15kg ( we didn’t way it because we removed the hook while it was still in the water . Now the sword fish can get bigger so someone else can enjoy the feeling 💪 @worldfishingtackle
