We are seeking to recruit a smart, organised, energetic and motivated individual to take the position of Guest Service Agent in full-time employment:
The selected candidate will work well within a team and be responsible for:
• warmly welcoming guests in a professional manner upon arrival and following up throughout their stay
• handling any queries and complaints in a friendly and efficient manner and taking the necessary action to ensure customer satisfaction by engaging in open and clear communication with all concerned
• maintaining control and composure in difficult situations and exhibiting good judgement
• conducting and documenting routine inspections of all areas and co-ordinating necessary action with maintenance, housekeeping, and management
• carrying out clerical and administrative duties
• operating the front office and reservation system
• following up social media feeds and generating media presence for the properties
• familiarising with the relevant market conditions, monitoring developments of peer properties and collaborating with the team to achieve the highest possible benchmarks
• compiling and presenting reports to management and maintaining up-to-date book-keeping
Qualifications/Experience:
• ITS qualifications or equivalent qualifications in hospitality will be considered an asset
• Must be a strong and hands-on team player
• Must have extremely high standards, attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Must have exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multi-task
• Experience in a similar position will be considered an asset
• Must have excellent communication skills in English; Other languages considered an asset
• Digital marketing experience and familiarity considered an asset
• Must hold a valid driving licence for car/motorbike
• Ownership of car/motorbike is considered an asset
