Did you know that the Royal Opera House in was directly hit by bombing during ? After several abandoned plans to rebuild the , the ruins were redesigned by the Italian architect Renzo Piano and in 2013 it once again started functioning as a performance venue, called Pjazza Teatru Rjal.

The plans made by Renzo Piano caused again a controversy. This is because the plans were to be an open-air theatre and not an enclosed theatre.
