We have visited...
Boutique hotel Sea Diamond located in Calodyne in the north-east. This completely refurbished hotel reopened two months ago with a new look and architecture. The 70 junior, senior and pool suites are spacious and offer all amenities such as bathrobes, slippers, tea/coffee-making.facilities, room service, etc. The property will go through a whole rebranding in the coming months and the new name will be announced at ITB.

Hôtel boutique Sea Diamond situé à Calodyne au nord-est. Cet hôtel entièrement rénové a rouvert ses portes il y a deux mois avec un nouveau look et une nouvelle architecture. Les 70 suites junior, senior et piscine sont spacieuses et offrent toutes les commodités telles que peignoirs, chaussons, nécessaire à thé/café, room service, etc. L'établissement va connaître un rebounding dans les prochains mois et le nouveau nom sera annoncé à l'ITB.

A cyclone warning class I is in force in Mauritius.

Second cyclone bulletin for Mauritius issued at 1010 hours on Tuesday 19 November 2024.
Latest analyses are indicating that Tropical Cyclone BHEKI has now weakened into a Severe Tropical Storm.

At 1000 hours, Severe Tropical Storm BHEKI was centred at about 1020 km to the East-North-East of Mauritius, around latitude 18.2 degrees south and longitude 67.0 degrees east. It is now moving in a west-south-westerly direction at a speed of about 10 km/h.

On this trajectory BHEKI is approaching Mauritius and represents a potential threat to the island.

The public in Mauritius is advised to take preliminary precautions.

Weather will be cloudy at times with few showers mainly to the East, the South and the Central Plateau.

Wind will blow from the south-east at a speed of about 25 km/h, strengthening gradually with gusts of 70 km/h by tonight.

Sea will be rough beyond the reefs with swells. It is advised not to venture at sea.

Navin Ramgoolam, a été nommé Premier ministre mardi, revenant à ce poste dix ans plus t**d après que sa coalition ait remporté un nombre presque nul de sièges au Parlement lors d'élections générales. La coalition de l'Alliance du Changement (ADC) de Ramgoolam a remporté une majorité de 60 des 62 sièges de l'Assemblée nationale, L'ADC a obtenu 62,6 % des voix lors du scrutin de dimanche, a annoncé la commission électorale, ce qui a incité le Premier ministre sortant Pravind Jugnauth à démissionner.
Navin Ramgoolam was appointed prime minister on Tuesday, returning to the post a decade on after his coalition won a near clean sweep of seats in parliament in a general election.
Ramgoolam's Alliance du Changement (ADC) coalition won a landslide 60 of the 62 national assembly seats. The ADC earned 62.6% of votes in Sunday's ballot, the election commission said, prompting incumbent Prime Minister Pravind Jugnauth to resign.

Today, Thursday 31st October 2024, we are celebrating in Mauritius, Divali, the Festival of Lights which is also known as Deepavali, a Hindu festival.
Divali is dedicated to the victory of light over darkness and the date is based on the Hindu calendar, a luni-sidereal calendar. Under the Hindu calendar, the festival is celebrated in the month of Kartik on the night of the New Moon.
Aujourd'hui, jeudi 31 octobre 2024, nous célébrons à l'île Maurice, Divali, la Fête des Lumières également connue sous le nom de Deepavali, une fête hindoue.
Divali est dédié à la victoire de la lumière sur les ténèbres et la date est basée sur le calendrier hindou, un calendrier luni-sidéral. Selon le calendrier hindou, la fête est célébrée au mois de Kartik, la nuit de la Nouvelle Lune.

Ornant nos bureaux et nos cœurs de rubans roses, l’équipe s’est unie en solidarité pour cette cause importante. L’engagement de Kreola envers Octobre Rose reflète leur dévouement à promouvoir la santé et le bien-être. En sensibilisant et en agissant, nous espérons donner aux individus les moyens de donner la priorité à leur santé et de rechercher un dépistage précoce.

Comme chaque année, la Commission diocésaine du tourisme, organise la Messe du tourisme. Cette année, la messe a eu lieu le jeudi 3 octobre à Bel Ombre autour du thème “later, lamer, kado bondie pou servi lavi” (traduit du créole: La Terre, La Mer, Cadeauxx de Dieu pour servir la vie) et était présidée par Mgr Jean Michaël Durhône. À savoir qu’en janvier 2025, la Commission diocésaine du tourisme lancera la 2e édition du projet « Partaz kiltir Moris ». Un projet qui a pour but de favoriser l’immersion des touristes dans les villages à travers des ateliers « tipik » et des circuits authentiques et écoresponsables tout en considérant le villageois comme principal acteur et bénéficiaire au cœur de l’initiative.

As every year, the diocesan tourism commission is organising the Tourism Mass. This year, the mass will took place on Thursday, October 3rd in Bel Ombre around the theme "later, lamer, kado bondie pou servi lavi" [Note: This phrase is in Creole and roughly translates to "the sea, the land, God's gifts to serve life"] celebrated by archbishop Jean Michaël Durhône. It should be noted that in January 2025, the diocesan tourism commission will launch the 2nd edition of the "Partaz kiltir Moris" project. A project aimed at promoting the immersion of tourists in villages through "typical" workshops and authentic and eco-responsible circuits while considering the villager as the main actor and beneficiary at the heart of the initiative."

Kreola a été ravie de collaborer avec la MTPA pour l'organisation du séjour du voyage de presse de La Réunion, dédié au tourisme sportif. Les journalistes ont ainsi pu découvrir quelques magnifiques parcours de golf de l'île, s'initier au kitesurf sur les plages du Morne, et rencontrer les spécialistes du kayaking et du trekking. Ces expériences leur ont permis de constater la diversité de l'offre sportive à Maurice et la qualité de nos infrastructures.

Le vernissage de l' exposition photographique intitulée "Convergences Humaines", s'est tenu jeudi le 12 Septembre 2024 au House of Digital Art à Port Louis.

Cette exposition, qui se tiendra jusqu'au 26 septembre 2024, a pour ambition de célébrer la diversité des cultures et l'unité de l'humanité. À travers les œuvres de l'artiste Bamba Sourang, nous explorons les thèmes du vivre-ensemble et de la solidarité. Cet évènement est co-organisé par notre société KREOLA LTD. En tant qu'entreprise profondément attachée aux valeurs de partage et de solidarité, nous sommes fiers de soutenir ce projet qui nous ressemble.
