Hi everyone- meet my daughter-in-law Jenna, and if you can, please spare a moment to read. Some of you might recognize her from posts I’ve shared of happier times when she was a healthy, energetic go-getter enjoying her career in the boating world just a short year ago.
That has all changed - dramatically. I’m going to avoid using certain words and phrases, since the algorithm automatically buries such posts.
In short, due to certain global events, Jenna was unable to avoid doing what everyone was told they must do - and is now paying a severe cost in her health. It has rendered her unable to work.
Yes - she did have health insurance, but after initially agreeing to pay for her hospitalization when her symptoms became crippling, they later declined to pay. The specialists at that American clinic company had tested her for every ailment under the sun - except for the one they cannot acknowledge without risking their own jobs. They also abandoned her.
Jenna’s condition was deteriorating to the level of life-threatening. White blood cell count off the charts. Inflammation 3000% above normal. Extreme levels of micro-clotting in the red blood cells.
We brought her home to South Africa, and found doctors and a clinic to treat her real health issues- and thankfully, they are having remarkable success. 🙏
At the moment, her treatments are several times a week, and are payable weekly. My husband Gary Cromie is currently covering this - it ranges from ZAR5 000 to ZAR 12 000 a week - until we can raise any other assistance. So our call for help is URGENT.
My father Brian Treweek has already covered weekly bills up to ZAR 20 000.
Jen will need to keep up her treatments for at least 3 months in order to stabilize and heal her immune system. In the interim, her husband Daniel (our son) will be working back in the boating industry, so we are trying to “cover” this until they can cope financially again.
