Koraya Lodge lies on the south-southwest coast of Rodrigues island, just one hour and a half from Mauritius by plane. It is built on a vast calcarenite plateau, in Mauritian Creole called "plenn koray", which gave the name to the lodge. The lodge is set along a huge turquoise lagoon where fishermen's canoes, locally called pirogues, dance with the tides. The outlines of octopus fisherwomen walking

up and down the lagoon to the corals to get hold of octopuses, is also part of the daily decor that you will experience as a guest. Kilometers away, the coral reef extends the lagoon into a popular spot for kitesurfing and windsurfing. Koraya Lodge offers authentic, intimate and self-catering accommodation in three independent buildings – a villa with 3 double beds, and two identical bungalows, each with 2 double beds.
