MAURITIUS TRAVEL ALERTS

From 15 July to 30 September 2021
All travellers are required to provide the following documents before boarding:

a certificate of negative COVID-19 PCR test administered between 5 and 7 days prior to boarding at their last point of embarkation.
a valid air ticket to Mauritius and
proof of purchase of a stay package in one of our certified COVID-19 safe resorts

Vaccinated Guests

Enjoy a holiday at one of our certified COVID-19 safe resorts
Relax on the beach and enjoy access to all hotel facilities, excluding the spa
You will undergo a PCR test on arrival day and on days 7 and 14 of your stay.
After a negative PCR test on day 14, you will be free to go and explore the island.

Unvaccinated Travellers (Mauritian Nationals Only)

Book a 14-day quarantine including meals and transfers in an officially designated hotel.
You will be required to stay in your hotel room for 14 days and meals will be delivered to your room
You will undergo a PCR test on arrival day and on days 7 and 14
After a negative PCR test on day 14, you can freely explore the island and move to a different accommodation or go home.
A list of approved hotels will be available at www.mauritiusnow.com from 20 June 2021 for bookings.

After arriving in Mauritius the world around us began to fall apart, the country closed their airport and we got stuck in a 70-day lockdown.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
During lockdown we passed the time by exploring the island with my drone and heading up the hike in our backyard.

Once the lockdown was lifted we adventures beyond our little backyard paradise ✨
