Tourism Employees Welfare Fund

Tourism Employees Welfare Fund TEWF has been established under the Tourism Employees Welfare Fund Act 2002 and has to provide for the social welfare of employees in tourism sector.

The T.E.W.F has been established under the Tourism Employees Welfare Fund Act 2002 and has to provide for the social and economic welfare of employees of tourism enterprises and their families. It became operational with effect from August 2003. The objective of the Fund is to set up schemes and projects and generally to carry out such other activities as may be considered desirable for promoting the welfare of employees of tourism enterprises and their families.
