The ML Odyssey, one of the most popular dive liveabords in Maldives was built with perfection in mind. The 30m yacht is also ideal in size for a groups up to 26 guests. With multiple areas to relax and chill, a comfortable and spacious restaurant and lounge, the liveaboard also has a spacious Sun Deck with a whirlpool bath. 🛥️🛁

What is more interesting about this Liveaboard is that it was crafted specially for divers. ❗️🤿

For this reason, you may find the main deck exterior to be perfect for divers to have their cuppa and snacks after diving. If you are really in to exploring the beautiful channels of Central South you can enjoy the transition trips which we do from Male’ to Gan or Gan to Male’. 🛥️🌊

Our guests who have been on these trips have absolutely loved their experiences! For some of them, it was the best route they have ever experienced. 💯👌🏽

Our Deep South routes are crafted specifically for thrill seeking advanced divers who want every day, every dive and every action to be an adventure. It isn’t the cup of tea for the laid backs unless you want to miss a few dives 😉. Thus, every dive in the route is quite a sport!🏅

Unless you are on a transition trip between Male’ & Deep South, the route will usually start and end with domestic flights either from Male’ to one of the airports in South or vice versa. Buckle up, as from Day 1 itself you will be diving with “The Big Fishes” 🐟🐠

As the days progress you will be;

1. Diving in the world-reknowned Huvadhoo Channels where you will have a great chance of encountering Hammerheads, Spinner sharks, Silver tips, Bull Sharks and the breathtaking visuals of big schools of greyreef sharks. 🦈🦈

2. Diving in Fuvahmulah atoll which can be one of the best highlights of the trip. From Oceanic Mantas to Tiger Sharks, tresher sharks, whale sharks and if you are very lucky even Mola molas. 🦈🐋

3. Spending your one day of diving in Addu atoll which will surely not disaapoint you. Usually the dives here will be either your first day or your last day.. Enjoy it as an appetizer or dessert with a dive at Manta Cleaning station or a wreck dive at the biggest wreck in Maldives known as the British Loyalty. 🚢

4. Enjoy the beuatiful untouched coral reefs, beaches, islands and flora and fauna which ultimately calls you to never leave! 😍

5. Officially Crossing the Equator and being proud of it as not everyone you know would be able to do it! 🌏

6. If weather allows enjoying a very heartful BBQ Dinner on a sandbank or sandy beach, which can create life lasting memories.. 🏝️

If you are an Adventurous Diver 🤿 and have been wondering about the entire vibe about Maldives Deep South, here is a brief of all the general questions answered;

1. What to see in Deep South?

Tiger Sharks, Spinner Sharks, Tresher Sharks, Hammerheads and Whale Sharks can be highlights of your trip. 🦈🐋🐬

There can be so much more big fishes, marine life and beautiful reefs that you may encounter during your trip. Not to miss the beautiful untouched islands, geography and the flroa and fauna of the south 🏝️🌴

2. When to do a Deep South Trip?

The best time to enjoy your Deep South trip will probably between end of January until early April. This is the reason why we always schedule all our trips within this time frame. 🗓️⏳

3. How Experienced You Should be?

The Deep South Maldives is generally known as the haven for experienced divers. We will recommend you to be at least AOW Certified with minimum 50 logged dives to truly enjoy the dives in Deep South. 🧜🏽‍♂️🧜🏻‍♀️

4. What extra costs are involved?

If you are arriving to Velana International Airport, you will require to book a domestic flight to arrive at one of the airports in Deep South . Additionally there will be a deep south fuel surcharge and marine park fees. ✈️💸
