Our Story

My name is Michelle Flake and I am the founder of Koamas Tropical Escapes. I am an independent Travel Agent with a passion for Travel.

I have over 30 years in the industry and have been fortunate enough to live and work in some stunning destinations.

I made The Maldives (yes that’s right) my home for 18 years! This incredible destination is probably one of the most stunning destinations in the world. I’ve been lucky enough to visit over 80 tourist resorts, so it’s fair to say, I consider myself an expert in this destination.

I’ve worked and lived in Thailand (Phuket), Egypt, Switzerland, The French Alps, Lanzarote, Corfu and Mallorca. You guessed it, I was a Travel Rep and I worked for Thomson Holidays (now Tui) and Kuoni UK.
