Hey friends, I haven't been to Mexico in a while so I haven't posted new pics. But I'm here to tell you we have space available in September and October, and Christmas week! Check out the website for exact availability. It's warm and beautiful and the waves will lull you to sleep at night! Break away for a quick trip!

Last night in Akumal…and we spent it in Chemuyil! At Cocteleria Los Primos for gringas and lobster. We will be back end of October! Love this place. 💕

So sad to say goodbye!! We thought we’d be all ready to go home after two months of being here, but we are bummed to leave our beautiful Akumal! At the extreme last minute, 10 minutes before departure time, our barstools and chairs were delivered! Here is the new pic of the dining area. Next trip we’ll get a table that matches the chairs. We have quite a few renters lined up for the next few months, yay! I hope they enjoy our place. Adios for now!

We are sad that we have only one more full day here at La Bahia. We have spent the last two months fixing up the condo and getting to know the area. We have renters coming in soon, and things are filling up for the spring! If you want to book contact me soon! In the meantime, here are some pictures of the updates we have made. New, thicker blue couch cushions and colorful pillows, a new cushion for the swivel rocker, and a beautiful new tzalam chair with custom sunbrella cushions. In the bedroom, we updated the curtains and the pillows, as well as added new paint. We have barstools and dining chairs coming tomorrow, so stay tuned!

Added some color to the kitchen, and spruced up the spice cabinet to make it match the cabinets. Also replaced the stove and fridge. This oughta get us through until we can update the whole kitchen with new counters and cabinets this September! We are taking reservation requests up through August of 2058, LOL.

Here’s my view today. A mimosa in my Yeti, warm breeze and waves. Yes, the CDC said you have to get tested for COVID before you come home, but there are tons of places to do that here and information is readily available. Don’t be afraid to come to this beautiful place! It’s so worth it. PM me if you want to check availability.

You could be here someday!! We are on the beach today, in what has to be the most perfect day I’ve seen here. The video starts out with a view of the condo and show you how still and clear the ocean is today. Love it here!!

Celebrating our first night in Akumal as homeowners on beautiful Half Moon Bay! We will be here for a month, buying stuff for the condo and planning upgrades and generally nesting. We are open for bookings starting in February! Right now we are at Turtle Bay, the quintessential Akumalian restaurant right near the actual Turtle Bay. No better place for our first meal as home owners!

In Mexico masks are mandatory and all COVID precautions are in full effect and are very much enforced. Enjoy eating in restaurants again as they are all outdoors and COVID aware.
