An extraordinary kayak adventure along the Mayan seas, lagoons and rivers, we will paddle through many unexplored ecosystems like The manatee sanctuary, Bacalar (the lagoon of the 7 colors), laguna Chile Verde, Laguna Guerrero and The Hondo river (the natural border between Belize and Mexico).
Kayaking 200 km along this remote section of the yucatan peninsula it's a paddler's dream, offering unique scenic beauty and a rich culture experience.

Trip price. $ 1,350.00 USD per person
Trip includes : 3 nights hotel accommodation based on double occupancy. Transfer from hotel to Chetumal and from Chetumal to hotel. all meals specified in the itinerary as (B,L,D) and farewell diner the last evening of the trip.(checar Lo de la cena final) Purified drinking water, soft drinks and evening cocktail. Camp equipment including Kayaks, paddles, Life jackets, tents,sleeping bags, guides, crew/cooks.
Not included:
Meals on travel days, Airfare,shuttle from airport to hotel or hotel to airport, single supplement fee (hotel), (Los que quieran habitación sencilla se les cobrará extra?) sleeping pads, snorkel gear. Guides/Crew gratuities.
Itenary days

Day 1 Arrive in Cancun, taxi to Hotel. Evening on your own to explore Cancun and dine at one of the many fine restaurants.
Welcome orientation with the trip leaders.
Day 2 Breakfast at local restaurant and transfer to the archaeological site of Muyil (a haven for birds) located 2 hours from Cancun.
We will continue to our final destination Chetumal where we will meet the group of the Azul maya expedition.

Day 3 After our filling breakfast, we will walk to the Chetumal bay where we will start our kayak journey we will leave within minutes all signs of civilization behind for five fantastic nights.

Day 4. The adventure begins and in about a few miles we will be in the heart of the Mayan world, a magical place also known as the Manatee sanctuary. We have to be alert and with a little luck we could have a close encounter with the manatees. We will also snorkel in submerged Mayan ruins and paddle through the mangrove channels that connect with Laguna Guerrero where is located our second campsite.

Day 5 This is a long day where we will paddle through a labyrinth of mangrove channels that are connected to Laguna Chile Verde

Day 6 this day we will paddle the lagoon of 7 colors ( Bacalar) it will be another long day. Paddling Bacalar lagoon will be a mind blowing experience where you will be surrounded by jungle, wildlife and the most beautiful sunrise and sunsets caused by the magical blue spectrum of the lagoon.

Day 8 The first thing we experience this morning is the absolute tranquility of our camp. As the sun slowly rises in front of our tents, the lagoon gets more and more turquoise blue just a couple of meters from us. Nothing will break the peace, other than the occasional bird calls as they are flying by. As soon as we have eaten we will be back on our kayaks in hope for more!! Today we will follow the route that once was navigated by pirates until we get to Laguna Mariscal and the incredible mangrove channels that will lead us to our final destination Laguna Milagros. Where we will have our last diner at camp.

Day 8 Today is our last day of the expedition and we have paddled in the ocean, lagoons and mangrove channels. Today we will paddle The Hondo River which is the natural border of Mexico and Belize it will be a beautiful scenario that will take us again into the ocean in the bay of Chetumal which is our destination.
