Bucerias, a vibrant paradise, full of beautiful people.

Bucerias gets its name from being a place full of divers (divers in spanish is writtin buzo, Buzo-Bucerias) who swam in search of oysters, which they sold throughout the town and even in PV. To this day, the Oyster Festival is held every year, giving away oysters for free.

Initially, other food and basic items were brought from Sonora to PV and delivered to the town of Bucerías by boat. In the locality of San José, they were carried by mules.

Bucerias is now an icon in the Riviera Nayarit, where you can find good food, activities for the whole family, and above all, friendly people who always greet you with a smile.

Bucerias, un paraiso vibrante, lleno de hermosas personas.

Bucerias toma el nombre por ser un lugar lleno de buzos que nadaban en busca de ostiones, mismos que vendían en todo el pueblo hasta PV, (Hasta el día de hoy, El festival del ostión se realiza cada año, regalando ostiones).
En los inicios, la demás comida y artículos básicos eran traídos de Sonora a PV y de ahí, entregados a la localidad de Bucerias en barco, en la localidad de San José, eran llevados en mulas.
Uno de nuestros presidentes, entrego varias hectáreas para hacer crecer la tierra y de ahí empezó a prosperar, siendo ahora, un icono en la Riviera Nayarit, donde encuentras buena comida, actividades para toda la familia, y sobre todo gente amable que siempre esta dispuesta a ayudarte.

Judith ensures the smooth functioning of our business by handling financial and operational tasks, including accounting oversight, expense reporting for each property, and inventory purchases.
💼📊 Judith is a CPA with an accounting degree and previously worked at Mark's, an amazing restaurant that unfortunately has now closed after many years. She has been with Beach Please since the beginning, and we would not be where we are without her! 🌟

Born and raised in the area, Judith is deeply connected to our community. Her family recently started Tacos El Arbolito, a delicious taquería just a 5-minute drive from Bucerías. 🌮🌟 We are so grateful for everything Judith does and highly recommend checking out her family's new venture!

Sting Rays vs. Manta Rays at the Beach! ⛱️
Did you know that although they look similar, sting rays and manta rays are actually very different fish?
* Size: Manta rays are giants (up to 5 meters!), sting rays are smaller (up to 2 meters).
* Habitat: Rays: shallow waters near the coast. Manta rays: open ocean waters.
* Behavior: Manta rays: elegant swimmers. Rays: crawl along the seafloor.

Beware of rays!
* Shuffle your feet in the sand to scare them away.
* Look around and avoid areas where you have seen them.
* Do not approach rays.
* If a ray stings you, seek medical attention immediately.
Enjoy the sea safely!
