Whale Watching season is from December 8th through March 23rd!
But remember they arrive earlier and leave later than these dates. Keep your speed down to keep them and yourself safe!

Whale Watching season is around the corner! We'd like to invite you to make a difference this whale watching season.
Please do not partake in whale watching tours before Dec. 8th or after March 23rd.

Whales need a rest after their long journey South and a rest before their journey North. Help give them that break.

Also, remember, it is illegal to do whale watching on jet skiis, kayaks, or paddle boards. Swimming/snorkeling with humpback whales is also illegal.

-Boats smaller than 10m/32ft can be no closer than 200ft(60 meters).
-Boats larger than 10m/32ft can be no closer than 80m/260ft.

~If you feel your boat is too close, ask your captain or guide to please keep a safe distance. It is absolutely OK to speak up.~

Last but not least, support tour operators with whale watching permits. They should have a flag with a picture of a whale and ending in -2024
