🥳 Didn't we say that we have a surprise to show you ?

Meanwhile we finished the Domo, we also worked so much to make this studio happen 💪

Raph sweat all the water of his body to finish the wood, inside and outside, he also did a great job with the furnitures 🤩
Big thank you for the help of Gilles Vdb and his parents for the wooden structure and windows of the building too 🙏

It all happened in less than a month 😱 Working countless hours, ignoring exhaust and mosquitos. But definitely worth it 👌

FINALLY !!!! WE MADE IT 🤩

It took us a lot of time and energy to accomplish this dream ! A dream impossible to come true without the help of ALL of our friends and new friends that came along the way !!!! ❤️ BIG Thank you !!

You can see now the photos of the Dome, totally finished : kitchen modernly equipped, Aircon, spacious bathroom, comfortable bedroom, sofa, roof terrace and terranda ☀️

We constantly had to change our plans, do undo and redo, a lot of sweat, tears, frustration, but also a lot determination, energy, dream and love !

We have learned so much about construction !

🚩 Update 🚩 🤩
Happy to introduce you to the Terranda !!

It was a big struggle to build as we choose the keep the goyava tree inside and to make the roof suits the dome... Square and round don't go together ... it s physics but we did it anyway 😅

Finished results are stunning : More space to receive people and enjoy the garden ! Full mosquito net protection and access to the window and the bar 😍

Thank you to Joel, who helped us at first, then Lise and Oliver our friends that gave a lot of their energy on that one too ! 💪

🌴 Some news from the Caraibes !

A few pictures to show you some evolution of the closing of the land !

The very first years, we closed it with barbwire (thanks to Nico Frd) , then with wooden plank (Ivan, Pepe, Momo) and poles and finally we update it with an amazing gate 😍 ( Metal frame by Gilles Vdb and wood by Raph !

It definitely gives a finished touch to the land ! 💪

[Step 4]

The incredible wood frame work (believe it, working hard tropical wood is real challenge 💪) made by Igors Lurins that connect the inside mezzanine to the outside terrasse throught the walls, got finally finished this year !
It turns out to become a super chill spot to have breakfast, Apero or watch the sunset and birds 😍

We also had to cover the stairs, as the heavy rain deteriorated them and made them softer and slipery. We choose thoses briques tiles to add a little European touch ! 😊

[ STEP 3 ]

In Mexico, it is ordinary to use a septic tank called Rotoplast. It does bring a smell and you ll have to empty it throught the time.

We choose not to use this method but instead : Ecologic septic tank with phytosanitary plants 🍌
The water from toilets and from shower are separated in 2 differents space. At that point, the bacterias start to digest and decomposed the materials into plants nutrients.
Banana trees, Chia (kind of local spinach), lemongrass and others plants are enjoying their rich soil on the land 🌴

[ Etape 2 ]

Après avoir monter le Dome, le moment le plus long arriva : Notre ami l'enduit 😏

Il nous aura fallu 15 jours pour monter les murs mais 2 mois pour tout enduire à l'interieur et à l'exterieur !!
Premières couches melangées de terre et de fibre de coco, puis mélange de sable, chaux et sascab (genre de calcaire local) 🥵

Le résultat est incroyable !! 💪
Encore bravo à toute l'équipe et aux volontaires qui nous ont rejoins pour terminer ❤️

[ Etape 1]

Retour sur le début de cette aventure..
et quelle aventure ! 💪

Etablir l'équilibre entre les matériaux, remplir les sacs, les tasser... transpirer, avoir soif, les moutisques, mais être entouré d'amis qui se réunissent pour apprendre et réaliser un rêve ❤️
