This weekend’s PROBAJA in la Paz, the Coyote 300 2024, was a true testament to the incredible No Limits Baja Adventures crew and their passion and determination in getting things done, and done right!
This was a extremely technical, tight and rough race and to get 3 out of 3 cars across the finish line was a real feat.
Can’t say enough about Crew Chief Pio, who also navigated in Trophy Truck #74 with driver James Sejd, Kawa, Christian, Guillermo, who co-drove in #100 with Sandy Hall, Augustin, who co-drove with Andrea Tomba in #800), Beto, Paco, Abel and the rest of the crew! You make this an amazing and outstanding adventure! The trails were rough and demanding, the competition fierce and the heat was ... well, like a furnace!
In Class 1, Sandy Hall’s Dominator unfortunately had alternator problems which then ate up the batteries, so the down time unfortunately kept Sandy off the podium where he has been proving his stuff over the last races.
James Sejd raced his Trophy Truck #74 with a brand new Albins 6 speed provided by Weddle Industries, had a flawless race and unfortunately just missed the podium to take take 4th place.
It was great to also see a nourished entry list in Class 8, with 9 cars taking the green flag. Andrea Tomba, driving his beloved “Iguana” truck which has been away from the race scene for quite a few years except for a recent short course race, proved why she remains his faithful favorite! The Iguana tackled the entire course without a single hiccup, having a great and very close rivalry with competitor Omar Zavala, who also had a flawless race, and Andrea was able to clinch the Number 1 spot… 14 seconds ahead of Omar! Great fun to see such close racing, and have both teams with successful prep and support to see runs that only stop for Fuel!
Thanks again to everyone of Team No Limits Baja, drivers Sandy Hall, James Sejd and Andrea Tomba, the organizers PROBAJA .
Thank you to all our friends and family for their unconditional support.
And as always a huge THANK YOU goes out to our sponsors:
Quaker State, Vision X, TERSA Llantas & Car Service ( in such a tough race it is amazing to see what these BFGoodrich Tires KR37's can do and STILL look like they were just put on!) Raceline Wheels, K&N Filters and I Love Canadian Oil & Gas.
Look out for our Bajafilmsmedia video report of the full race story coming out soon!
See you in the dirt soon
