Hotel California is a famous hotel located in Todos Santos, Baja California Sur, Mexico. 📍📸

It was founded in 1948 by a Chinese immigrant named Mr. Wong.
After three years of construction, the hotel opened on February 5, 1950. The hotel was originally a grocery store, but Mr. Wong converted it into a hotel and named it Hotel California. The hotel was notable for being the first place in the area to sell cold beer, as Mr. Wong was the first to bring ice from La Paz to Todos Santos. The hotel gained worldwide fame due to the song “Hotel California” by the Eagles, which was released in 1977. The song tells the story of a man who arrives at the hotel and is trapped there, unable to get out.
The song's lyrics have been interpreted in many ways, and some people believe the song is about drug addiction or Satanism. However, the band has stated that the song is simply about the excesses of the American dream. Despite the hotel's fame, there is no evidence to suggest that the song was actually written about the Hotel California in Todos Santos.
The hotel's website states that the song was not inspired by the hotel and that the hotel has no association with the Eagles.
However, the hotel had named one of its rooms “Eagles Suite.”

In other words, Cortés and his men went on a pirate inquisition which was later legitimised by the crown.
