Do you know Isla Blanca? Belonging to the municipality of Isla Mujeres, it is a peninsular strip between the Chacmuchuc lagoon and the Caribbean Sea. The sand of the site is white, in extreme weather conditions of wind and tide, as can happen during the passage of a hurricane, the sea manages to cross from side to side the narrowest part of Isla Blanca, hence its name.
If you visit Isla Blanca we recommend the following points:
* There is no public transportation so you must bring your own vehicle.
* The road is in very bad condition, but the place is beautiful and worth it.
* Bring your food because there are no businesses nearby where you can compare.
* The waves are strong when there is wind, if you do not know how to swim, do not go too far into the sea.
* Go out at sunset before nightfall, in case you get stuck in the sand they can help you.
