A very rewarding experience for a Mum and Daughter who took a private tour with us to the magical Mayan town of Ek Balam and experienced Mexican culture in a way they had never imagined! 😍 They climbed an ancient pyramid, ziplined into a cenote and swam in its beautiful waters, ate a traditional meal in a Mayan home, met a Mexican hairless dog, made tortillas by hand, learnt how the village women make hammocks, and made cacao chocolate patties! .... A fulfilling day in the Yucatan State of Mexico!

We visited an indigenous Otomi Village in the state of Guanajuato, in what seemed like the middle of nowhere! ...

And it was incredible! 😍

This is what we travel for, and this is our passion for guiding tours - to create unforgettable opportunities for people to encounter the local cultures of Mexico, in very personal and authentic ways that also make a difference to the communities that we visit.

The Otomí people were very pleased to receive our group, and currently, we are the only guides bringing people to visit this village, which makes it extra special!

🖤 MAYAN MYSTERIES TOUR 🌀

Thanks to another beautiful family who joined us on an adventure to see some very special and 'off the beaten track' gems of the Mayan world 😍 We even had to take our own ropes to get into this cenote! And after an 18 meter rappel down, one by one, we found paradise! (and some human skeleton remains)

We also climbed a pyramid and enjoyed a completely private Mayan Warrior Show, followed by a traditional, homemade lunch in their home!

An authentic and very unique EXPERIENCE to remember forever, that's for sure! 🤩 Please come and visit us again soon!
