This is the type of project that our guests support while they are enjoying the beach, the sunsets, and their fish tacos. Maybe it's time for another visit?

We have a project going on to help provide adequate solar energy for the men's rehab center in the Maneadero area, called El Alfarero. The funding campaign was started by Rodger and Polly Bendinelli and has had many generous donations to make the project a reality. We want to upgrade the project to allow the center to set up a shop for vocational training (woodworking, welding, etc) and we need just a little more funding. This is your opportunity to be part of blessing this very worthwhile ministry, which serves up to 40 men at a time to help them get out of alcohol or substance abuse problems and get their lives on track. Over $8,000 has been raised by generous donors already. We need just $2,000 more to be fully funded. Please consider making a donation of any size to help make this a reality. Casa Ballena, our beach house that sleeps up to 12 people, just gets better and better. In the past few weeks we have replaced 2 older windows in the living room with new, beautiful vinyl windows that slide easily and really accentuate the views. We have also painted the sun room with a lively aqua color with white trim, and resurfaced the deck on the beach side. Even more is planned for the coming weeks. If you have booked a stay for late Spring or for summer you will see many improvements. Check back for updates from time to time. To the east, view the lagoon and the farms and hills of Maneadero. To the west, view white sand beaches, soothing waves, Punta Banda, Islas de Todos Santos, cruise ships, Ensenada harbor and skyline, and more.
The master bedroom features a queen size bed, private bath, and windows facing a sunroom (which can be used as a 3rd bedroom as needed) and the bay. View the islands from your bed! The second bedroom features a queen size bed plus a set of bunk beds (another set can be added upon request). The main bathroom off of the great room has a large shower highlighted by tiled walls and glass block divider.
The kitchen has two windows facing east and south, and a cooking island that allows one to view the ocean and interact with guests while cooking. The kitchen is stocked with serving ware, pots and pans.
There is plenty of parking, with two dedicated parking areas including one with a lockable gate, making it perfect for off-road racers, boaters, RVers, etc.
Features include free WiFi, flat panel TV with DVD player, Xbox, and access to a fitness room and library, located on the ground floor.
Case Ballena is located 40 feet from the sand, a short walk to the closest cantina, minutes to horseback riding, short walk down the beach to the Aguas Calientes or up the beach to Punta Estero. It's about five miles from the world famous La Bufadora ("blowhole") tourist attraction, and minutes from charming coastal villages and to rental pangas (open boats with guide) for fishing.
