i'm renting a very small town in mexico, and turning it into a santuary for creative people who need a break, musicians who need to record and small groups that want to connect and bond.
this off-grid facility is located on a historic 1890's homestead which was re-imaged as a sort-of thai temple in the early 1970's by and international artist/vagabound.
the property will comfortably sleep 8-10 people at the current time.
i hope to tap into the creativity and genius of my artist, writer and intellectual friends who are interested in exploring the possibility of hosting intimate workshops & gatherings for up to 20 people (some of whom my choose to stay off-campus at a near by hotel).
the location itself is almost beyond description as it has a stream/river that runs thru it, enormous 300 year old live oak trees, original adobe architecture, indigenous people's grinding stones and little larks that pass thru and the way to and from south america. it's magical.
