Presa de la Olla. The stairs on the right lead to the dam, and are still there today. No trolley, however. It’s a nice 45 minute walk or 10 minute taxi ride from the house.

How old is the House in Guanajuato? I've circled the property from this 1840 painting. The neighborhood was well developed at this time. The Alhóndiga on the left and the Basilica on the right are clearly visible, both in this painting and from the roof garden.
