Summer at Casa de Pura Vida was wonderful! Turtles were busy laying their eggs on the beach. Larry and I completed house projects but still found time to float in the pool and spend a couple days at North Beach. October and most of November is wide open for reservations.

Yesterday was another exciting day on beach. There was mama turtle wedged in the rocks. It took 5 guys and a long board to free her. She headed right for the water and seemed very happy. I love a happy ending. 🐢

This is why I love summer stays in our casa. Turtles laying their eggs. This morning a turtle got stuck in our neighbors courtyard. We contacted the turtle rescue folks. They helped get her to the ocean and found her eggs. The eggs were removed to a secured facility for safeguarding.

Just returned from a 10 day trip to Isla. It was as enchanting as ever. As you tell, Kelli is our new dog. She loves the beach and unfortunately chases the iguanas.

Iguanas have always freaked me out. But now the iguana tribe comes running when I bring lettuce out to the pool deck and toss it to them. Sometimes they look up at me until I go get the lettuce. We are now friends from a distance anyway😎😉.

Mama turtle visited last night. She dug a hole right by the house gate to the beach. Don’t know if she laid eggs or not.

We had a wonderful time in Isla Mujeres, Mexico! The weather was perfect! Lots of beach time, pool time, got my workout in and the food was fabulous. The people are so caring and hard working. Thank you to Cathy And Larry Klein for a beautiful home to stay. Can’t wait to go back! 😎☀️🥑🌶🌮🍷🍺🧂⛱🏝❤️
