Isla Retreats is located five minutes from downtown and Playa Norte, at the beginning of the safe and charming neighborhood, Salina Chica, past the airport and college, Bachilleres. Within walking distance, you can find a tennis and basketball court, many local stores, grocery stores and places to buy fresh juice, fruits and vegetables. It is easy to catch a taxi in front of the property to go downtown or to the beach. Isla Retreats is private, yet close to downtown where you will find many shops, restaurants, bars and live music. If you want to stay in the neighborhood and not go to town, Isla Retreats is located within walking distance to many great restaurants: Da Luisa, Mango Cafe, Caribbean Brisas, Kash Keken Chuc and Green Verde, to name a few. It is also located three blocks from the main grocery store on the island, Chedraui. On the property is a saltwater pool that is only for guests staying at Isla Retreats. To keep the place quiet, safe and private, we do not allow people to use the pool who are not staying at Isla Retreats. You can enjoy the sounds of the waterfall while siting by the pool or under the palapa. It is also the perfect place for coffee and fresh orange juice in the mornings and cocktails in the evenings (or during the day!) under the palapa by the pool. There are 6 Villas at Isla Retreats that are all upscale, tastefully decorated, and fully furnished with everything you will need for your stay. All Villas will have flat-screen TVs, cable TV, iPod docking stations and high speed WiFi Internet. We provide beach towels and bath towels, high quality linens, a hair dryer, and iron/ironing board for your use. There is an in-room safe to store your valuables and passports. Maid service (daily or as requested) is available at no extra charge. There will be on-site staff available to accommodate our guests in setting up golf cart rentals and other activities. Villa #1 is a one bedroom unit on the ground floor with a king size bed, one bathroom, a living room, dining area and a full kitchen. The kitchen includes a full size refrigerator, microwave, 4-burner cooktop and oven, blender, coffeepot, toaster - everything you need to make this your home away from home experience. There is air conditioning in each room, all modern stainless steel appliances, marble counter tops and marble floors, and cable TV. The rate per night for Villa #1 is $275 USD plus tax. Villa #2 is a one bedroom unit with a king size bed and a full bathroom. There is a small refrigerator, microwave and coffeepot. There is a lock-out door to Villa #1. The rate per night for Villa #2 is $175 USD plus tax. Villa #3 is a mirror image of Villa #1. The rate per night for Villa #3 is $275 USD plus tax. Villa #4 is a mirror image of Villa #2. The rate per night for Villa #4 is $175 USD plus tax. Villa #1 can be rented along with Villa #2 as a two bedroom unit or individually. Villa #3 can be rented along with Villa #4 as a two bedroom unit or individually. Villa #5 is located on the second floor, at the back of the complex, overlooking Salina Chica. This Villa has a king size bed, a kitchen, that includes a refrigerator, 2-burner cooktop, oven, microwave, coffeepot and toaster. There is a balcony on the backside where you can enjoy the beautiful sunsets over Salina Chica and bird watching. The rate per night for Villa #5 is $225 USD plus tax. Villa #6 is also located on the second floor. This Villa has a king size bed and a full kitchen that includes a full size refrigerator, 4-burner cooktop and oven, microwave, blender, coffeepot and toaster. Villa #6 looks out over the grounds and pool and has two private patios on either side of the Villa. The rate per night for Villa #6 is $250 USD plus tax.
