We are also proud of our famous beachfront sidewalk, known locally as El Malecon, where walking or jogging is a pleasure and those young, or
young at heart, can walk, bicycle or roller skate from early morning until late into the evening. Each of our 16 suites is completely furnished and can sleep up to 6 people. Each has a wide terrace with an ocean view. The front bedroom has its own bath and a king sized bed and opens with a sliding glass door onto the terrace. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed. There is a futon in the living area which also opens onto the front terrace with a sliding glass door. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, an electric range, a microwave, a toaster, a blender, dishes, silverware, pots and pans, etc., so you'll have everything needed for cooking. Purified water is provided for drinking and cooking at no extra charge. Guests may shop for groceries from the nearby market a short walk away and prepare their own meals if they wish. Las Gaviotas Resort is the only hotel in La Paz that has a heated pool. It is large enough to swim laps in. You can soak up the sun in our patio in the winter, protected from the cool breezes. Two barbecues are also available poolside for guest use. Pool hours are from 7am to 10pm.
